"Come again," Mignon requested, having failed to understand what Shikera just said. She raised her legs and climbed onto the bike to sit in front of Shikera.

"There's no way I will get into the city and he won't notice. The fact that he's not here yet is simply a miracle to me. Or maybe he just forgot about me," Shikera replied nonchalantly. She continued, "But even if he forgot about me, my dad might also be searching for me so visiting my doctor is a no no for now."

By this time, the bike had moved onto the road but instead of Mignon riding back home, she rode instead to one of the hidden spots where she had shown Shikera the previous day.
