Seeing that she had successfully woken Shikera up, Mignon breathed a sigh of relief and took her hands of the former's shoulders.

"Don't you think you sleep too deeply these days?" she asked.

"What deeply? How many days have you found me sleeping for you to take that conclusion?" Shikera asked back, defending herself. She got out of bed and yawned, stretching her arms before sitting back on the bed.

"I can never win an argument against you so I'll just drop it," Mignon replied. She paused for a while before adding, "I came to tell you Grandma Cooper is bathing already. I guess we can't stop her."
