Hazel was annoyed, very annoyed at that. Ever since she stepped into that private room with the others even though she had no clue why she was brought here with them, she had decided to enjoy her day here at least. It was not everytime that she got the chance to eat lunch in a restaurant like this.

But ever since the Elizabeth walked in, the girl had smartly reduced her to a maid while exulting herself as a nice person. What with asking her questions of her childhood and then comparing with her own self? At first, she had thought Elizabeth was trying to engage her in a conversation but as time passed, Elizabeth's intention became clear.

Hazel had read enough romance novels to know who she was acting like. Like those rich female leads who were—

"Miss Hazel, can I get ice cream please?" Esther's asked, jolting Hazel out of her reverie.
