The door was pushed open at the very next moment and Cyprian rushed in, dark circles lining her eyes. She took in Shikera's appearance in one fell glance and a smile broke out on her lips.

"Someone looks beautiful," she drawled.

"And someone looks horrid. Didn't you sleep well, Rian?" Shikera asked.

Cyprian rolled her eyes as she fell on the bed. "More like I wasn't allowed to sleep at all. Raymond was a beast and I clearly told him I have to work today. Aaargh!" she groaned.

"And you are still lying on the bed? Don't you have to get ready to leave for work?" Shikera questioned. Without waiting for an answer, she went to pull Cyprian up from the bed and pushed her to the door.
