Ee-arth

Rose pulled out a map of realms. And pointed to a specific one.

Rose: "Here is Ee-arth. They have multiple kingdoms with defenses unlike anything I have ever seen."

Jason leaned over the map, his eyes narrowing as he studied the realm Rose pointed to. The name "Earth" was scrawled in delicate handwriting, surrounded by annotations and notes about its unique kingdoms and defenses.

Jason: *skeptically* "Ee-arth? It doesn't sound like much of a sanctuary."

Rose: *smirks faintly* "Don't judge it by the name. Ee-arth's kingdoms are advanced in ways you can't imagine. They've got technology that can track and neutralize threats before they even step foot in their borders."

Grace: "But... are the people there kind? What if they don't trust us?"

Rose: *meets Grace's gaze* "Some are kind, some are not—it's like any other place. But their laws are strict. If you play by the rules, you'll be fine. Flint won't have a chance against their defenses."

Jasmine: *straightens* "Then it's settled. We'll go to Ee-arth. How do we get there?"

The four turned as they heard loud pounding on the door. Jason turned to Jasmine and Grace, his eyes filled with determination.

Jason: *softly* "You have to go. Now. I'll buy you time."

Grace: *grabs Jason's arm* "Jason, you're still injured! You can't fight him like this!"

Jason: "I've fought worse. Trust me."

Jasmine: *tears in her eyes* "Don't do this. Please, Jason, we can find another way!"

Jason: *hugs them both tightly* "You're my sister, Jasmine. And Grace... you mean everything to me. I won't let him hurt you."

Rose: "We don't have time for this! The portal won't stay open forever!"

Jasmine: *clenches her fists, her voice trembling* "Jason, don't you dare die you idiot! Do you hear me?!"

Jason: "I'll be fine. Just... stay safe."

The pounding on the door turned into a crash as Flint's voice echoed through the house.

Flint: *coldly* "You can't hide from me forever, little prince."

Jason: *steps toward the door* "Go. I'll hold him back as long as I can."

Grace hesitated, tears streaming down her face as she stared at Jason. Jasmine took her hand firmly, pulling her toward the portal.

Jasmine: "Come on, Grace, we have to go."

Grace: *whimpers* "No..."

Rose: "GO!"

With that, Jasmine and Grace stepped through the portal, the shimmering light enveloping them as Rose closed the gateway behind them. The last thing they saw was Jason drawing his sword, ready to face Flint.

On Earth, Jasmine and Grace emerged in a dense forest, the air crisp and unfamiliar. The trees towered above them, their leaves glowing faintly in the dim light. Jasmine's eyes scanned their surroundings.

Jasmine: "So...this Ee-arth."

Grace: *looking around* "Looks a lot like our planet."

Jasmine: "The creatures look similar too....Do you think think the inhabitants of this planet might look like us as Rose says they do?"

Grace: *shrugs* "Only one way to find out." *her voice determined* "We must find an Ee-arth dweller!"

Human: "YEAH!"

Jasmine and Grace: "..."

Human: "..."

Crickets chirping...

Human: "...I'm sorry, am I not allowed to join the LARP?"

More crickets chirping...

Human: "Ahem. Um, my name is Charlie...by the way. And what might your names be?"

Grace: "I'm Grace."

Jasmine: "I am Jasmine! Princess of Crystaline! I order you to take me to your king!"

Charlie: "My king? Don't you mean the president?"

Grace: *visible confusion*

Jasmine: "Heh?"
