Bai Zhe became more well known by the public after the news about Dan Dan hiring gangsters was released.

Bai Zhe went back to his apartment after he finished filming the show. He found that there were reporters from various stations waiting for him in front of his apartment building. The news of Dan Dan being arrested was a hot issue on the internet. Although some fans tried to protect Dan Dan at first, they stopped after the video evidence was released.

The program's staff asked Bai Zhe for the video and posted it on the internet. They felt that Dan Dan had gone too far. Moreover, Bai Zhe was a celebrity who needed to use his face for work. It would be the end of his career if he got a scar on his face.

After the video was spread widely around, some of Dan Dan's fans quit being his fans and turned themselves into Bai Zhe's fans instead. It could be seen from the number of Bai Zhe's fans on the LSA's website which had greatly increased.
