Not Completely Humans.

Alex walked in with both Bella and Anna following by her sides.

"So. We get to see the alpha?" Anna asked. Her voice quite excited.

"Tsk, that's the fourth time already Anna." Bella said with a smug smile.

"Calm down ladies. Ciara was our classmates. No need to feel all paranoid."

"That should go to you, Anna." Bella whispered and the three of them laughed.

They walked for abit more and slowly stopped in front of large doors. Two guards stood in front of the doors, they both looked at each other quite surprised that their earlier thought was right.

They had smelt humans from far, but they thought it was the human servants or the Alphas human secretary.

Their eyes then landed on the woman in their middle. Realizing who she was they quickly bowed their heads.

"It's okay. They're with me."

The guards quickly obeyed as they ipened the doors for them.

Ciara stood near one of her favorite pictures on the wall, her eyes slowly turning to the incoming and unwanted guests brought in by her best friend.

She formed a soft smile.

'Yssh, those human scums! Darn you 8Alex, darn you!'

"Hello." Bella and Anna said with bright smiles as they approached Ciara. Ciara smiled with fake earnest.

"Anna, and Bella. Welcome to my home."

"Thank you for inviting us Ciara." Ana chirped.

'You think I did? All thanks to Alex, of course'

"Of course. Please, enjoy and have fun." She simply said.

"Comon Ciara." Alex who had been leaning on one of Ciara's cushion finally spoke, earning a bad eye discreetly from Ciara.

"They're our former classmates not guests. And right now, you're not the Alpha. You're Ciara Rainsworth."

Ciara looked at Alex and sighed, this her best friend really knew how to press her buttons.

"Ok...ay ladies," Ciara smiled at Bella and Anna.

"I'm so sorry I'm not a talkative like someone here, so why don't we move to your rooms?"

Anna giggled.

"Of course, Ciara. Please lead us."

Ciara nodded, "this way.." She said as she walked in the middle of Bella and Anna.

"Ask me any questions if you have one." She added to break the weird silence.

"Do you have a mate yet?" Bella asked and Ciara gave a short glance to Bella. She realized that Bella had been quiet since her entrance. She also looked at Alex, a glare visible although she was smiling widely.

Alex smiled smugly.

"I don't." She replied.

"You don't?" Anna arched a brow and Ciara nodded.

"But I thought female werewolves normally find their mates early at Seventeen?"

"Not all." Ciara said. "If you need more explanations.. you can always ask my Liberian."

"You have a library here at the palace?"

"Yes, of course."

"Who's the Liberian? When can we meet her?"

"She's behind us." Ciara smiled smugly. "Alexandra Óvera."

Alex scoffed from behind.

"Really?" Ann's turned to Alex.

"She's bluffing." Alex chided and the girls laughed.

"Please ladies..." Ciara stopped in front of a door with blue carvings.

"I prepared this room. I hope you like it."

Bella smiled and opened the door, walking in with Anna following then Alex and Ciara.

"Wow!" Anna smiled. "This is luxury."

Bella laughed softly and turned to Ciara....

"This is quite welcoming. I thought you despised humans."

Ciara's fake smile dropped that instant. She looked at Bella for some seconds. Her lips curved upwards, she didn't feel like lying anyway,

"I do. Infact I wasn't in support of you guys coming here."

Anna turned from the balcony to them, she wasn't shocked but she wasn't really expecting Ciara to come clean.

Alex only sighed. She guessed that peace would surely not last amongst them.

" I noticed. " Bella said simply.

"Then why..?" Anna was about to speak when-

"Alex couldn't stop talking about you two. I wondered why my so not fully trusting best friend would waste her time on common humans."

"Common?" Anna asked. "We aren't common."

"You aren't?" Ciara arched a brow and then laughed-

"Of course." She smiled at them and then shook her head at Alex who had no emotions on her face.

"I told you, this wouldn't work." Ciara stated and turned to leave.

"Why do you hate humans?" Bella asked and Ciara halted.

This time, Alex quietly took a sit on of the long couches there.

The story behind her hatred came in like flashes in her brain and a heart breaking sigh escaped her lips.

"They slaughtered..the only family I had left."

Anna was surprised while Bella, she only sighed.

Alex eyes wavered among the girls standing. She knew it was tough for Ciara to mention her family.

She knew what at that moment, her best friend was passing through.

She stood.

Play time was over.

"Ciara.." She called softly.

"I don't want to know Alex!!" Ciara turned and faced them. Her eyes filled with tears and her expression rigid.

"They killed them. Spared nothing and yet fed on their skins! They even gave their weakling dogs to chew their bones!!...I only escaped with those awful memories and still yet.. I can't avenge or pass a revenge for them. All because of the time has passed. You all are pretending to be good, Alex friends but a time will come and she will hate you just the way I do."

"I hope so." Bella said surprising everyone.

"I hope she can hate us like you right now so that I won't have to like her more than I do."

Ciara scoffed while Anna and Alex starred ay Bella.

"Alex saved us both." Bella said referring to herself and Anna.

"If not for her, I should be dead. Somewhere, six feet below."

She sighed and continued.

"And it Wasn't your fault or our fault humans destroyed your parents. Your parents were good people so they didn't deserve it. I just hope.. you can see us in a different light as Alex did." She stopped and glanced at Alex, slowly looking at Anna then Ciara.

"After all, we aren't completely humans."

Silence.. engulfed them.

Alex looked confused as she starred at the two weak humans who seemed to suddenly have vigor.

What the hell were they saying??
