When Both Our Cars Collide

Fragments of glass

Smashing into one another

Like soldiers of old

Charging each other

On the night dipped field of battle

Front ends

Crushed soda cans

Rammed into each other

Back ends

Suspended in stasis

From the impact

Drivers

Seeing each other

Locked in an eternity

In the air

Launched towards each other

Airbags smashing their skulls

Heads exploding

Reminiscent of dropped watermelons

On the roofs

And when

The fragments of their skulls

Begin to fall

Ambulances would be called

But it's already too late
