"Emma, if we're not fated to be together, why does my heart bleed for you?" Bright called her.

Emma halted her steps.

"And if you no longer have any feelings for me, then you wouldn't know I'm in danger. You come to me at those times purely out of instinct. Because your subconscious mind still thinks of me, still loves me. And if you don't love me so intensely, why does your heart bleed to death for me seven years ago?"

Emma sighed then smiled coldly. "The past is behind us, Your Highness. Let's move forward," Emma remarked, her words carrying the weight of lessons learned. "I forgive you, but I will never return to you."
