Wisdom, finally!

The next day, in the lonely river village, was a rare visitor that had not stepped foot inside of it for a few million years. The visitor walked in the shadows, her presence barely felt by the few occupants who lived far apart from each other.

In the shadows, a figure crossed the river and in front of a grand house that stood alone, she stopped. The dark robes which she was wearing flew back, caressed by the wind and the sound of the sad flute.

Lythia, the rare visitor snapped her fingers and hummed a slow tune, as shadows poked around the house in search of an entrance.

One of the shadows turned back and shook his head.

Lythia threw her head back and laughed. As expected of Nyx, his house was safe guarded from unwelcome entrance. The deities could enter his village but they could not invade his house.

"What a clever one you are." she whispered.
