The emperor's shadow.

News of Scarlet's little blow up made it to the capital rather quickly and it fell within the ears of the emperor twenty minutes after it occurred. Along with the news was a very long rant in form of a voice message sent by Lord Basky, the owner of the building which Scarlet had blown up.

The emperor listened to the complaint, barely hearing the details. He knew that Scarlet would not tolerate the excesses of the Solarians but he had no idea just how far she was going to go to teach them a lesson.

"She is creating trouble already." he muttered.

"Wasn't that your hope?" Markay asked his father.

Father and son were moving away from the house of ministers. It had been another long day of listening to boring and whiny speeches from most of the noble ministers.

Most of them were now more than humble of course, since the noble house of Godiver had been trimmed of it's claws successfully by the empress.
