When the babies settled down, Scarlet eagerly said, "Let's continue picking baby names. If we follow family tradition then the eldest has to be B." 

"The little half and half here." Fey said. 

Scarlet's mouth tilted downward and she frowned. Fey had used the exact words Chaos had used to call her baby. Her eyes trailed through the hospital room and her senses sharpened. Was he here? 

Carolyn shoved Fey in the arm and told her, "Don't call her that. It sounds like you are talking about food." 

"Thank you." Scarlet said in a deep voice. 

There was finally someone that shared her exact opinion. She sent Carolyn an appreciative glance. They seemed to share similar thoughts. 

While Fey handed their mother baby socks and hats, she didn't forget to defend herself. "Her hair is partially white and partially black. Half of two different colors. It's not that deep Carolyn."
