Cindy Clarke took the tissue and hurriedly wiped the tears from her eyes: "I didn't... it wasn't on purpose."

"I know." Aunt Evans sighed, looking at Cindy with sympathy.

"Aunt Evans, let me sit here for a bit," Cindy said. "Otherwise, it'd be embarrassing to go out and explain."

"Alright." Aunt Evans nodded.

Cindy sat there and continued to make dumplings with Aunt Evans.

The small dumplings were just the right size for one bite.

Aunt Evans commented, "Ah, the ones we made are different. Yours are much prettier than mine."

"I make them often, so I've become skilled," Cindy replied with a smile.

They put the dumplings in a steamer basket to be cooked later that night.

"Alright, I'm here. You should go out now," Aunt Evans urged again.

By now, the redness around Cindy's eyes had faded.

With Aunt Evans's urging, she returned to the Main Hall.

To her surprise, she found that little Morgan Zhekova had somehow rolled into Old Master's arms.
