"You should be about sober now, right?" Peggy Lewis diverted to him.
"Guess so," Lyke Zhekova smiled.
Seeing Lyke Zhekova speaking so fluently and even able to ruthlessly mock Clifford Wells, Peggy assumed he should be sober now.
"You should get some rest early then, you drank so much tonight, you're definitely going to feel bad tomorrow," Peggy Lewis reminded him. "Don't forget there's a meeting at noon."
Tomorrow is the day for both parents to meet, so they have to stay in good shape.
Thinking about this, Peggy Lewis felt particularly weird.
How did they suddenly get to the stage of meeting each other's parents?
The speed was so fast that she couldn't quite keep up.
This reminded Lyke Zhekova, making him take it seriously: "Then I'll go to bed to rest up. I can't give our parents a bad impression."
Peggy Lewis: "...."
Lyke Zhekova got up and walked two steps, then stopped and said to Peggy Lewis, "I'm now fairly sober, better go take a bath. I love to be clean."
