What the hell is this?? why did it end up this way?? Why am I the one being left behind?? Why am I the one who he abandoned?? And all for that goddamned fresh meat as well !! Why the hell did you desert me?!

Reader's P.O.V

Shin stood over the ball at the left corner flag on Asura's side of the pitch, he was looking at his options and weighing his choices; Tantai was heavily marking Callum; likewise, Sora, Hanzo, Adam, and Antonio by Ai Fei, Ai Xu, Mo Xu, and Pisu respectively. Outside the box wasn't much better as the rest were in a very efficient Zonal Mark, Shin decided to damn the consequences and stick to what has always worked in situations like this. He took three steps back and two to the right keeping his eyes trained on Bai Lee who was ready to cut off every cross Shin made. Shin ran up and kicked the ball at an odd angle, it swerved inward then outwards, and back to float into the top right corner, he had knuckled balled the cross hoping to either score himself or have Callum put in the odd touch to score; unfortunately, nothing of the sort happened as Bai Lee managed to catch the ball and secure it in his grasp.

Bai Lee cleared the ball up the left side of the field to Xu Ron who was being covered by Marcus; as the ball closed in on Xu Ron, Marcus moved to close up the space just for Xu Ron to cut around him flicking the ball over Marcus with his heel and dribbling further upfield quickly, so far the options he had were Yuga and Gareth who were sprinting down the middle and Luo Ji who was racing down the other side. Yuga suddenly began to cut across Gareth, running towards Luo Ji signalling for a pass, one that Xu Ron gave him without hesitation and made his run towards the goal.

Riccardo and Jaden tried closing Yuga down but he sent a cheeky through ball between the two for Luo Ji who burst past the three of them to send a cross in for Gareth, Gareth ran at the ball with a certain intensity in his gaze, both John who was marking him and Lucas In goal tried closing in on his to stop the shot just for Garreth to dummy the cross that eventually found its way to Xu Ron at the edge of the box. The Asura Youth Number 7 volleyed the ball on first contact sinking the ball into the bottom left corner just out of Lucas' reach putting Asura Youth up at 2 -1. Xu Ron broke into a knee slide to celebrate his goal.

Shin: (He was right??) How the hell is that Number 7 even in the zone right now?? Sure he's an alright player but he's far from Zone material

Callum: {Walks up to Shin} That's where you would be wrong, not that I blame you for having such a narrow-minded assumption

Shin: Taking your anger out on me are you?? That's not very professional

Callum: I'm not angry though, you're just not fortunate enough to be coached by that man {Looks at Yeongha} He understands that state best after all

Shin: I know he's coached you before but you talk as if being with his side is any better than being with us

Callum: Make no mistake Cap, if I were ever given the choice of staying here or joining him, I would abandon you unhesitantly: Why the hell do you think I'm taking attention off of that Longwei brat?? cocky shits like him don't deserve to learn under coach Yeongha {Clenches fist} Not while I can help it

Shin: (So that's why you requested the actual A team play this match, trying to leave us huh??) And the Zone??

Callum: I don't fully understand it myself, but the zone can be accessed by anyone, and frankly speaking it can't be seen as a final measure of one's abilities... That being said I don't understand it fully

Shin: Don't worry about it, we just need to focus on winning this match (That doesn't make sense, I have had access to the zone for years and have been unable to make progress since... Unless I have been going about it wrongly) {Starts heading back to starting position)

Both teams were back in position and it was once again Yufeng's ball. Callum rolled the ball forward as Shin ran passed him taking the ball with him; Shin rushed straight past Longwei's Left side directly challenging Xu Ron, who didn't shy away and moved to get the ball. Shin closed into Xu Ron and then went for a sharp left side 360 to break down the outside but Xu Ron turned with him and chased Shin down making sure to keep pace, Xu Ron and Shin clashed shoulders, momentarily slowing them both down and letting the ball get away from them both, however, while Shin stumbled Xu Ron double down and pounced at trapping it between his feet before passing it back to Pisu, who then played it back to Tantai.

Having plenty of space Tantai assessed the situation as Yufeng began a high press, only then did flick the ball forward before booting it upfield with all the force he could muster. The ball flew over most of the players seemingly going towards Ricky standing a few yards out of the box, Ricky leapt to control it but the ball went just over his head and simultaneously a shadowy aura ran by him getting the ball with only the keeper in his path.

Ricky: (How the fuck did that guy kick the ball so far, and how is this fucking number 10 able to get to it) Johnny!!!

John: Don't fucking call me that!!! {Runs and slides at Yuga}

Seeing as John went in for the sliding challenge, Yuga flicked it over himself with his back heel and jumped over the tackle, this delay, however, gave Lucas enough time to rush out to sweep the ball, Yuga controlled the ball on his lap just for Lucas to be 4 yards in front of him set and ready to dive, Yuga attempted a shot which Lucas widened his stance to save, Yuga stopped the ball under his shooting foot and dragged it back rapidly striking the ball against the inner ankle of his balancing foot, the ball darted right through Lucas' legs and into the centre of the goal securing Team Asura's third goal and settling the scoreline at 3-1 after being just 31 minutes into the game.

Damn it!! why the hell did it end up like this, no matter what I do now I'll never have the spotlight back on me, I'll never have enough of his attention to have this match swing in my favour, why the hell did that Yuga bastard have to end up at Asura youth, if he wasn't here and stayed on his damned sick bed maybe this bullshit wouldn't be happening. Fuck!!!!

Reader's P.O.V

Shin looked at Callum in disbelief, the striker of Yufeng was bothered by the heavy loss they were suffering but his body language implied he wasn't at all surprised that this was happening, and while it was justified he could at least pretend to believe Yufeng still had a chance in all of this, but they way things are now things aren't looking up for them

Gareth looked at Yuga who was returning with slightly laboured breathing and frowned, Yuga knew better than to overuse the Zone so early in the game but was doing it anyway, and not just him, almost every single member of Asura Youth was still using the zone full blast even though he stopped using it after the second goal.

Gareth: {Frowns} (How annoying) {Jogs back to position}

Tantai: Hey Pisu, It seems Gareth's finally noticed as well, the downside to what we're doing

Pisu: Knowing what's wrong won't help now anyway, most of them are too far gone, the best we can do is try to help them recover during the break, or better yet let them ride out the anger that triggered their zone state until we have a safe lead

Tantai: I'm pulling them out at the 75th minute regardless of the scoreline at that time, we can't compromise their health for a victory that may not even mean that much in the end

Pisu: I can agree with that (Now to deal with that Callum guy, with Shin out of it he's the only real threat still on the Yufeng side of the field)

Callum: {Walks up to Shin} Don't lose your head just yet, I'll explain the whole thing later but this match isn't over by a long shot, especially not with me still wearing the Yufeng colours

Shin: Oh yeah?? and what can you do against a team of Zone players??

Callum: If you understood the way the zone worked as I do you'd understand that right now I don't need to do anything, Asura will fall apart in their own time

Shin: And how the hell do you know that??

Callum: I told you, there isn't time for that lesson, all I need you to do is to initiate plays that force them to use teamwork and individual skill in unison for long periods, the more skills they show off the better for us {Runs back to position}

Shin: ( God dammit Callum) I'll put my faith in you this once {Returns to position}

Yeongha: {Eyes trained on Callum} (He's going to be a problem in the next half) Start stretching all of you, I'm bringing you all on at some point in the second half so make sure you don't disappoint me

Hunter: (Huh??) {Stands up} Yes coach!!
