Chapter Thirty Two: The Ball.

Elizabeth finished putting on the beautiful off-shoulder red sequined ball gown with a low decolletage and a long bouffant skirt. She wished there was a mirror in the garden, but unfortunately, there wasn't. However, she was sure the gown suited her perfectly. As soon as she opened the box and set her eyes on the beautiful dress, she was amazed by its elegance and beauty. Surprisingly, it was her exact size.

After applying the sweet-scented perfume she found inside the box, the aroma filled her senses. "Smells so good," she audibly gasped, admiring the small perfume container.

Once she tied her golden hair in a tight bun, she put on the silver masquerade mask that accompanied the dress, hoping it would be enough to conceal her identity. Placing both hands on her face, she observed how much the mask covered and nodded approvingly, knowing that most of her face was hidden.
