(Chapter 65)
....
A certain person clenched his fist repeatedly as a smile outlined his lips, it seemed like his cells were livelier than usual or so he thought.
"Do you feel stronger than yesterday?" Another individual inquired, as he walked up to the first.
"Yes I think, and my body feels way lighter." The first replied as he raised both arms up, examining himself from different angles.
"Well after examining your fighting style, or should I say your random movement? I had decided that it would definitely have to be the only stance that fits or something similar. Sheesh do I even know what I'm saying again?" The second speaker spoke, before letting out a slight sigh.
"The Osa kue stance, isn't it?" The first asked.
"Yeah something like that. I can't even believe that I your teacher would have forgotten the name so quick." The other chipped in, closing his eyes like he was trying to remember something, before snapping his fingers suddenly. "It's the Osae uke stance Fushi!" He said.
"Oh yeah the Osa uke, I can't believe....." Fushi said, his voice wandering off towards the end.
"What's on your mind boy?" His master inquired. After that, a lightbulb went off in his head. "And by the way, it's the Osae uke stance not the osa uke stance." He corrected, pushing his goggle to the top of his nose bridge, allowing it to fall all the way back to its normal position.
"Show off!" Fushi said inwardly, as the person's goggles shimmered for a second before returning back to normal. The bright red pupils of his master was now glowing through the goggles.
"Are William and the rest okay, we haven't heard of anything yet, have you teach?" Fushi asked Clark his current master, while his iris stared down towards the ground.
"No I haven't." He spoke, placing his left index and thumb finger under his chin. He was also brooding on the situation, as no information on General Nazumoto's progress had reached them yet. However, he quickly put his worries at the back of his mind on remembering just how strong a general was. "There is no way a general of sangotaro can be cornered, there is just no way." He thought.
"Fushi!" He called.
"Yes sir?!" The other answered.
"Forget about the third stage, we'll go straight to the second right away." Clark said. "It's a good skill, but I just feel like it would waste our time even further. And guess what, if you finish stage two and all its phases, and stage three in two months, I'll answer any question of yours. Including you know..." As he spoke, Fushi's iris thinned out on hearing his last statement. Any question? That was definitely going to be awesome. Fushi could finally inquire about the blood link and it's history.
"Roger teach!" Fushi echoed, raising an arm just a little above his head to underscore his statement, thereby giving a salute.
"It's still annoying that he calls the third stage the second, and the second stage the third. I mean his he trying to complicate things the more?" Fushi thought, as he stole a glance at Clark who was ostensibly staring further to the front like there was something very far away which he could see from here. Albeit it wasn't something visible, as this was just to show how concentrated Clark was right now.
"I finally get to learn both fighting ranges, this is getting super surreal!" He grinned as he spoke inwardly, his eyes coruscant and fulgid in inexplicable excitement. Although his grin didn't go unnoticed by Clark who chose to ignore the former's creepy smile.
"A body compatible with that of a bane, is that even possible for a human?" Clark mused as he stared further still, he now had a lot of unanswered questions this week, including several about his temporary student.
"When I turned the root into energy for Fushi, I was quite worried at first that he might die, since the energy isn't compatible with each other. But what made me even way worried than I had expected was the results. No damages or side effects, instead he got stronger. Another thing that didn't go unnoticed was that I couldn't find the energy I had transfer to his body, and when I focused so hard for several minutes, all I could see was a black endless space. It was like closing your eyes. Just what happened at that moment? He becomes more of an unsolvable mystery as the day goes by, what did you see in this boy that none of us could Head general Minamino?" Clark pondered hard. After he had talked to himself inwardly, he buried his face into his palms.
"Teach, when's the training going to start?" Fushi inquired, turning to Clark who was about to resume his inward delving.
"Hmm that's a nice question, we'll be starting right now." Clark uttered, as he got up alongside a mild grunt.
"Yes!" Fushi punched the air in excitement, as a beaming smile surfaced his face.
"Today makes it three weeks and two days since this phase began, do you have what it takes to complete it in two moths time?" Clark spoke, adding vocal sauce to his statement.
"Yes sir!" Fushi echoed bouncing up to his feet, with fiery determination burning in his eyes.
However just then, a phone vibrated in Clark's pocket. And on bringing it out, he saw a red circle, almost covering the whole screen like it had been hacked. With a slight frown on his face, he stared intently at the emergency caution that was written with a red blood text.
"This is the highest emergency, that is only sent to the higher ups that rank from one to fifteen!" Clark exclaimed inwardly, he was still in a one minute dilemma as this was certainly out of the blue.
"Just a minute Fushi, I need to excuse myself!" Clark spoke, as he made a very sharp turn to leave while slipping his phone into his pocket.
"Where is he going to?" Fushi thought, seemingly dumbfounded on what had just happened. One moment ago they were about to start training, and another moment training was suspended as soon as his master had taken his phone out of his pocket.
As Clark slipped his phone into his pocket to run upfront, his phone vibrated again. Coming to a halt, he quickly reached for it.
"Maybe it is just to tell us that the emergency call was a mistake." Clark thought but still decided on bringing the phone out, just in case it wasn't like he had assumed.
"Hello everyone, I am **muffle** **muffle**
A voice spoke, but due to the signal of the phone or recording problems, the person's name wasn't heard.
"It's a video call!" Clark muttered, as the screen finally cleared. The person that was speaking had a very curly hair with bangs. The beauty of his blue eyes, was brought to the fullest by the warm smile his lips portrayed, as he also spoke in a calm and soothing manner.
"This doesn't look like any of them." Clark noted. "Don't tell me, have we been hacked?" He thought, as he looked towards Fushi's direction. The latter was also staring at his mobile phone with quite a surprised facial expression.
"Who is this person, and how did he have access to my phone? I can't even cancel the video call." Fushi thought, as he stared at the screen of his phone.

"Laina, insert that power plug into that metal extension." Joe instructed.
"Aye! aye!" Laina accentuated, as she hopped towards the giant power plug. It was almost as big as her head, so she had to use both hands to carry it. However before she could, a voice startled her.
"No don't carry it with bare hands, wear that glove on the table. The plug feeds on human energy, and I don't want it killing anybody, especially you. That glove is an anti-energy equipment, it seals one's energy that is channelled around the arm to the hands, to prevent any casualty while using or carrying the plug." Joe explained.
Lines of sweat rolled down his cheeks, as he busied himself with plugging this or that, fixing things here and there, or instructing Laina and the wooden puppet to carry out a few task for him.
"He is just to cute and cool, he has it all!" Laina said inwardly, as she stared at Joe with a reddened cheek. As fate would have it, Joe also looked towards Laina's direction, causing both parties' eyes to meet.
Laina turned her flushed cheeks away in embarrassment, while Joe simply shrugged in ignorance to what had just happened.
"So if you have the same material you use for the glove with you, that means you can also make an anti energy material like this right?" Laina asked, while she fluffed the glove that wasn't fully worn yet, making them wiggle slightly.
"Yes I can, it's pretty much simple. I could even make you one if you want." Joe spoke with extreme confidence, while Laina couldn't get enough of his awesomeness.
"Seriously, you're cool and intelligent." Laina said with alacrity, as a bright smile outlined her lips.
"Yeah thanks, you're also beautiful and useful." He commended.
"Thank you." She replied shyly.
"So who is going to serve as the feed of the plugs, since they need to suck a source of life to work." Laina inquired, with one of her eyebrows arched up.
