"Bye," I waved at my employees as I pulled open the door for them to walk through. I had invited them to the housewarming and most had left, remaining this last batch.

"See you on Monday," they choruses in return and turned to leave.

"I'll see them off," Lorenzo who had remained quiet at my side murmured and I beamed in gratitude.

"Thank you," I sighed in relief and took a step back for him to walk past. As I did so, I noticed Abby and her party had halted in their strides and were staring at us with wide eyes and goofy grins, Garett one of them even had the guts to wink at me.
