Discovery

The Age of Discovery

After decades of research, humanity made an unprecedented breakthrough—discovering an alien race known as the Vulkus. These extraterrestrials originated from a distant galaxy, or perhaps even an entirely different universe.

Contrary to expectations, Mars held no great mysteries—no ancient ruins, no lost civilizations. The only discovery was the Vulkus, and humanity wasted no time stealing and replicating their technology. Over time, they even enhanced it, surpassing what they had initially acquired.

The universal language, known as Teka, was already spoken by every advanced species outside of humanity. With their newfound knowledge, humans deciphered the secrets of space travel, rendering light-years as trivial as kilometers. Complex phenomena—black holes, wormholes, and the fabric of spacetime—were demystified within minutes, thanks to the data extracted from Vulkus ships.

Behind the scenes, Earth's governments were amassing power, training soldiers, and preparing the populations of Earth and Mars for something far greater than they could comprehend.

The Truth Behind the Illuminati

In reality, the Illuminati was a mere distraction, a fabricated myth to conceal humanity's true discovery—a crystal found within the bodies of the Vulkus species

This mysterious crystal, while immensely powerful, was not the ultimate key to evolution. The real secret lay elsewhere.

The Starcells – Power Beyond Limits

Captured Vulkus revealed an even greater truth—an intergalactic force known as the Empire. This governing body ruled not just galaxies, but entire universes, determining which civilizations thrived and which were erased.

The Empire's greatest achievement was the Starcell—a miraculous power source created by disintegrating and compressing entire stars into an indestructible energy cell. A single Starcell could sustain both Earth and Mars for over 1,000 years, solving humanity's energy crisis in an instant.

The Vulkus possessed a vast supply of these Starcells, enough to keep Mars self-sufficient for a century. But humanity was never meant to possess such power—the Empire had different plans.

To ensure that Earth and Mars developed according to the Empire standards, every nation was given a specific task:

Japan and Korea—Develop a hyper-realistic game to keep humanity's focus diverted while simultaneously training them for war. The realism was pushed to 95%, incorporating meta-abilities to prepare players for real combat.

China—Construct an outer planetary force field to safeguard Earth and Mars from external threats. Though it seemed like a defensive measure, it was in reality a containment system.

Russia, America, and India—Lead the development of military technology and prepare for future conflicts.

This game was far more than just entertainment—it was a controlled battlefield where players were conditioned for violence and bloodshed. The goal was simple: create warriors who would not hesitate when the time came.

The Truth About the Serum

The Grade-5 serum, believed to be humanity's greatest achievement, was nothing more than a cheap imitation of an advanced formula used by the Empire's own citizens. It enhanced meta-abilities gradually, allowing humans to adapt to the power system of the universe.

The game capsules and helmets emitted frequencies that synchronized with the IBC , accelerating players' progression. The ultimate goal was to bring in-game stats into the real world.

At present, the Empire remained unaware of how quickly humanity was evolving. But that ignorance would not last forever.

The Tier System

The game followed a tier-based structure, mirroring real-life power classifications—a truth hidden from the public:

Tier 1 – Possess three abilities at Level 2.

Tier 2 – Possess five abilities at Level 10.

Tier 3 – Attain a Spirit Force of 10,000.

Tier 4 – Form a Spirit Force Core.

Tier 5 – Achieve Field Manifestation.

Reaching Tier 5 was considered impossible for 99.9% of players, as the same tier system existed in reality.

A logical question arose—if power was so vital, why not distribute the Grade-5 serum universally?

The answer was control. The Grade-5 serum was restricted to only 100 individuals. If everyone possessed equal strength, the age-old hierarchy would collapse. Wealth, status, and power relied on disparity—without it, who would remain in control ?

However, if Earth and Mars were accepted into the Empire, the real serum would be distributed freely. But until then, only a select few were allowed to ascend.

At present, those who had taken the Grade-3, Grade-4, and Grade-5 serums had already unlocked Tier 1—including notable players like Chris, Seth, Ares, and Ted.

Chris didn't know everything, but his father had given him one mission—become the strongest, no matter the cost.

To achieve that goal, Chris urged Ted to take the Grade-5 serum. He needed a benchmark, someone to surpass, and Ted was the ideal rival.

Soon, both Chris and Ted would turn 18, finishing high school and inevitably joining the military. But Chris had a plan—he would ensure that Ted joined the Special Forces alongside him. Together, they would unravel the truth that his father could not yet reveal.

Meanwhile, Ted had successfully cleared the first trial of his Legacy, reaching Level 100 as a Tier 1 player. Yet, this was only the beginning.

The Orc Village – Edge's Next Mission

"Alright, so where is that Orc village?" Edge muttered, scanning the rough terrain ahead.

King had given him a specific destination—a village on the outskirts of Demon territory.

The Orcs were not defenders—they were war machines. With over 100 villages at the border, they were the Empire's first line of attack. Their role was to expand the Demon-controlled land, pushing the borders further and further.

Unlike other races, Orcs did not fear war—they thrived in it.

Their placement at the frontline was not a punishment but a testament to their strength. According to the Demon Dukes, the best defense is an unrelenting offense.

Edge moved forward, and soon, his eyes locked onto the first Orc village.

This was it.

The real battle was about to begin.
