Mission Aborted

In Dr. Ian's office,

Dr. Ian pushed the wheelchair and made it rest on the wall before he removed his lab coat and took his seat.

"That was quite eventful. I don't think I've said so many words at once in such a long time." He said with a smile as he turned on his air humidifier and removed his stethoscope from his neck.

Daniel leaned forward on the wheelchair and said, "Well played, Doctor. You really know how to spin a tale. You had " He praised, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

Though he was happy to have Emma on his lap, he wouldn't settle for such a short-term pleasure when he could get a long-term gain by taking it a step further.

Dr. Ian chuckled. "It's all in a day's work, Mr. Kozlov. Anything to help a fellow man out," he replied.

He had gone through hell and back when he tried to convince his wife to marry him so he knew just how bad it was for someone as wealthy as Daniel tp ask him for help.
