Silver paused in her steps and turned to face Eve, "Are you seriously drinking right now? Don't you realize the amount of trouble we're in?" She asked, bewildered.
Eve popped a piece of cookie into her mouth, chewed slowly, and took another sip of her juice before saying with a shrug, "You mean the amount of trouble YOU are in, Silver. I never had a hand in what you did."
"But you told me you'd help me take care of the aftermath! I blatantly tried to murder that man because I thought you'd send your men to take care of the rest!" Silver voiced agitatedly.
Zayne had slowly become a bone stuck in her throat from his unreasonable and excessive demands to serve him wherever and whenever he pleased.
