Cat Paradise

Just before the sun sets onto the horizon far far away. Our two heroes manage to reach the nearest town where they can rest for the night. Or so they thought.

In front of Noah and Lumine were dazzling lights and loud music. Noises that made the surroundings tremble on their beat. There are plenty of people with cat-like traits walking around having a blast. Dancing, drinking, singing, flirting, and more. The whole village is more like a giant party.

Noah and Lumine stand still stiffly in front of the village entrance. While they're at it. A cat girl just saw them as she passed by.

"Visitors… Gulp… Gulp… Gulp…" She chugged down the mug of beer in her hand and made a loud refreshing sound. "Ahhhh~ That was great… Beer is the best! Oh, sorry, I can't help myself when I see a good-quality beer. Anyways, are you two travelers?"

The cat girl swayed as she approached the two. Getting closer and closer, she placed her arms on Lumine's shoulder.

"Want some beer?" She asked.

"I'm a minor…"

"Hahahahahaha! That is funny! I'm a minor she said."

Noah and Lumine can't even understand why the cat girl thinks that being a minor and unable to drink hard drinks is funny.

The cat girl chugged down her mug empty. "?!" Realizing that there was not a single drop left, she got furious and threw the mug on the ground. "Grrrrr! Useless!"

Lumine stepped back from the cat girl and went beside Noah dragging his ears and whispering.

"I got a feeling that everything would be annoying if we say here. Just look at them, a bunch of drunkards. Even kids here were drinking. Something is definitely wrong in this place."

"Sure… I think we are okay sleeping in a forest. The map said that only low-level monsters lived in the part of the forest because of the powerful cat tribe and the rocky mountains of the dragon tribes in this area."

Lumine and Naoh look into each other eyes and nod in agreement.

Noah and Lumine wave their hand to the drunkard cat girl. "I'm sorry for the trouble." "We apologize." They then, turned their back like they don't meet and walked away.

"D-Don't go away! Have fun with us. Life is boring without the pleasures of fun! Stay here in Cat paradise!"

The cat girl bounces off to stop Lumine and Noah by grabbing their hand.

"?!" Noah was then in shock at the sheer strength the cat girl's grasp was making.

He always has a firm balance in his body and being dragged by someone so casually should not be easy.

However, the cat girl managed to grab his arm with strength that he could not imagine coming from a petite girl with twig-looking arms. Not a muscle. Yep, the cat girl has no muscles but is insanely strong.

Noah could fight back if he wanted or use his gravitational ability to boost his strength. But anyone would say that's a bad idea. Cat beastmen is one of the last creatures anyone should be picking a fight with. Cat tribes are so powerful tales told stories that cats are the only creature that is equal to dragons. Remembering the tales in the children's storybook Noah used to tell Yaya and Nana. Noah started to have little grasp on why the cat people and Dargon people don't get along very well. Probably, it is not just the cosmic war or battle in their territories.

Cats and Dragons have a long history of disputes and hatred of one another. That they still carry today.

If Noah ever retaliated here… The group of cats partying in the village would definitely jump in to beat the shit out of Noah and Lumine.

Going with the flow is the best thing to do right now.

Just like that Lumine and Naoh were dragged into the party.

"Everyone look at what I got! We have two cute visitors!"

"Visitors you say."

"She told the truth… It's humans… Are they here to pay respect to our all-mighty god of freedom?"

God of freedom. Lumine thought as she examined her memories of what the cats were referring. The name sure sounds familiar but she struggles on where she exactly heard the name.

"I change my mind… I think we'll be staying for a while, Noah." Said Lumine.

"I think it's too late to say those words… There is definitely nothing we can do right now."

Naoh looked and saw the cat around them. Most of them have these intimidating stares and who knows what these cats would do to these two visitors.

But if things do turn south. Noah will have to use brute force to escape away from the cats.

"We are travelers who are in the middle of a journey… Sadly, we have nowhere to go right now. So could we stay here for tonight? Or maybe, some few days."

Lumine steps forward and tells everyone.

"Hahahahaha! We don't care…"

"They don't?" Lumine cocks her head. "Does that mean they'll kick us out of here?"

"No… We're not that cruel like those dragons who push away everyone around them with intimidation."

A giant cat said with a big smile on his face. After that, everyone follows laughter.

"...We're just testing your bravery, by looking at two of you with scary eyes. But the boy doesn't even flinch the same with you, pretty lady… When I mean we don't care. That means we don't care how long you want to stay here. As a visitor, you must go with our rules here. It's simple. Don't oppose the empress. The god of freedom. Don't step on our culture to have fun and don't care too much about everything. Do anything you want."

He then chugged down a mug of beer and sprayed it upward creating a rain of beer that came from his mouth. Gross…

"Welcome to Cat Paradise!"

Everyone greets.

"They all look weird and wacky, but I don't sense danger from them."

Lumine said.

"Now, that you said it… I started to feel at ease."

"Let's have fun Noah, Lumine… You two are in the middle of a journey. Both of you must be very hungry and horny. We have lots of food over that long table and there is a cabin over there where both of you can pour down your lust on one another."

The cat girl said whose now very drunk as she continued to sip a mug of alcohol again."

"Lumine and I…"

"I'm very horny… I guess, well take food and eat them in the cabin in private while we lick each other's flesh."

Noah was shocked at how shameless Lumine was. Lumine then walks to the table filled with freshly cooked food and places it on the giant round plate.

"Chicken… Roasted pork… Jerky… Some juice, sausage, vegetable for balance… Noah lets go and have some passionate sex."

"Gugugu… Your woman is a horny one. I wonder what she wanted you to do with that food. Maybe, she will pour all that food on her body. She will then ask you to lick her body clean and eat the sausage that's been sticking in her ass and…"

Lumine kept her stoic attitude and sat down on the floor and started munching sausages and gulping some milk.

"What are you looking at Noah? Let's eat plenty and sleep. There are lots of things to do tomorrow."

"I promise myself not to pry too much. But I wasn't to know about the other two cosmic weapons you're talking about. They are my personal friends after all. And if you have a plan, I should at least know the gist of it. So tell me what is running in your mind or planning?"

"In Dragon Ravine… One of your cosmic buddies could be found there and in a lost forgotten city, she's there waiting for us…  I don't really know what they look like or their abilities and names, but I'm sure you'll know them when you meet them. I just hope that you'll be able to convince them to join our journey. Well, that's what I'm planning for now… Wait, another one… About the goddess of freedom. I want to have a little investigation here. If Cats and Dragons have a serious dispute right now. We can say that, your friend was involved in this matter and we probably could help him out. Helping him with his problem and making him indebted to us makes it easier to convince him to join our journey."

Noah is once again amazed at how cunning and manipulative Lumine could be. She's almost scary when she makes a villain's face. Despite that, she's still a kind person and there is no doubt about that. Noah still has his trust and loyalty to his princess.

Noah dives down on the bed face on the pillow.

"You're not eating?"

"Not hungry… I just want to sleep and recharge more." Noah replied.

"This food is pretty good. I guess you'll regret it not having a bite."

After Lumine's words, Noah leaped out from the bed and joined Lumine on her feast. After everything that happened today, Noah doesn't just need sleep to recharge. I mean, Noah is still a half-human and his half-human body needs its nutrients. Probably…
