Ai Family

Wang Jun, the head of the Solid Strike Sect, reacted swiftly and decisively when Jin Jinyi's son fell dramatically to the ground. The group of servants assisting Jin Jinyi was stunned for a moment.

They rushed to help their injured master and noticed the prominent footprints on his right cheek. It became evident that the kick he received was quite forceful.

Tong Jinyi, covering his injured face, was unable to contain his outrage. He confronted Wang Jun, exclaiming, "How dare you strike me!"

One of Jin Jinyi's men added, "You're in serious trouble! My master is the third son of the Ai family. Harming him is equivalent to offending the entire Ai family!"

Another person threatened, "You Solid Strike Sect people, you'll pay dearly for this!"

However, they quickly fell silent as the disciples of the Solid Strike Sect streamed out of the gate, forming a formidable presence behind Wang Jun.

The so-called "three sons of the Ai family" turned out to be just a handful of men. Faced with nearly a hundred disciples under Wang Jun's command, they realized they were severely outnumbered.

This incident highlighted the advantage of having a dedicated group of disciples. They could act as a powerful deterrent without the need for their leader to personally intervene.

Tong Jinyi's entourage was left dumbfounded, realizing they were outmatched.

"You can't intimidate us with numbers!" one of them blustered.

Another added, "We're the Ai family!"

Wang Jun, however, just smiled and held his chin, saying, "The Ai family? Is that supposed to frighten me?"

Li Qingyang leaned closer to Wang Jun and whispered, "Head, the Ai Family is a renowned family in Huyang City."

Huyang City? Wang Jun often laughed. He recalled that Huyang City was one of the eight major cities in Azure Sun County, second only to Azure City. It was known for its large population, numerous families, and sects.

Li Qingyang continued, "The Ai Family has been in the elixir business for generations in Huyang City. They supply many elixirs and have significant financial resources and extensive connections. They are much more influential than my family."

Wang Jun chuckled and touched his nose. "So, it's about the elixirs?"

Li Qingyang nodded and added, "This person's name is Ai Zuo, the third son of the Ai family. He relies on his family's influence to act recklessly in the city. He's quite notorious in Azure Sun County."

"Ai Zuo?" Wang Jun often laughed and shook his head. "That name sounds like it's begging to be punched."

Li Qingyang was left momentarily speechless. He had explained the situation to the head, but the key point was not whether to punch Ai Zuo but rather that this young man's family was a force not to be trifled with.

In the midst of his agony from the injury to his face, Ai Zuo angrily demanded, "Boy, hurry up and bring out the head of the Solid Strike Sect . He needs to apologize to me immediately!"

Wang Jun often laughed and replied, "No need to shout. The head is right here."

With a flourish of his sleeves, he stood tall with his back straight, projecting an air of confidence and authority. He appeared quite impressive and self-assured.

"Is he here?" Ai Zuo was momentarily confused, glanced at Li Qingyang, and then furiously demanded, "So, you are the head of this faction? Apologize to me!"

Li Qingyang twitched at the corner of his mouth, took a couple of steps back, and shot a glance at Wang Jun, as if saying, "This is the head of our Solid Strike sect."

Wang Jun raised an eyebrow and said, "Isn't it obvious?"

Ai Zuo, after seeing Li Qingyang step back, realized his mistake. He looked at the disciples standing behind Wang Jun, unsure who was in charge. He shouted angrily, "I am the third son of the Ai family! You should show some respect!"

Li Qingyang: ...

Disciples: ...

Together, they wondered if this guy was clueless.

Wang Jun, who had been patient so far, couldn't hold back anymore. His face turned red with anger as he yelled, "Are you a complete idiot? I'm standing right in front of you, and you still can't figure it out? I'm practically rolling my eyes at your ignorance!"

He stepped forward, and a few servants quickly stood in front of Ai Zuo, one of them even raised his fists and stammered, "Y-You, w-warnin' ya, don't... don't..."

"Get out of the way!" Wang Jun grabbed the stuttering servant by the collar, dragged him aside, and then turned his stern gaze on Ai Zuo. His voice was low and filled with a hint of danger as he said, "Listen carefully, boy. I am the head of the Solid Strike Sect."

The intensity in his eyes, along with the underlying threat, sent shivers down Ai Zuo's spine. He dared not even break a sweat, and his entire body tensed up. The several Ai family servants who had come to his aid were equally shocked, their backs drenched in cold sweat.

Wang Jun, who had dealt with his fair share of mountain bandits, emitted an aura of danger when he unleashed his fierce glare. A mere puppet disciple, as strong as he might be, couldn't bear the weight of that gaze.

"Haven't you heard me?" Wang Jun bellowed, his voice thundering like a storm.

The three words hit Ai Zuo's ears like a thunderclap, and his heart raced. Trembling, he finally managed to stammer, "I-I've heard!"

Wang Jun pointed down at the steps below and said icily, "Now, get lost."

"Swoosh! Swoosh!"

Members of Ai's family seemed to have triggered their second Ren Du pulse instantly. They swiftly carried Ai Zuo away at breakneck speed, not uttering any more threats.

Wang Jun let out a breath and turned away from the scene. His disciples exchanged glances, and Han Mao took a step back.

"Head..." Li Qingyang's voice was feeble. "Are you okay?"

Wang Jun approached with a grin, and the menacing air around him gradually dissipated. He placed one hand on Li Qingyang's shoulder, leaned his head on his hand, and sighed, "Don't I look like the head of this faction?"

Li Qingyang couldn't help but show a hint of sympathy. The disciples nodded among themselves, understanding their head's predicament.

"Don't cry," Lu Lu, who was sitting under a tree, glanced at the injured young man on the ground.

Solid Strike Sect, Medicine Pavilion.

It was a simple place with no sophisticated medical equipment or medicines. Wang Jun carefully carried the injured teenager to the bed in the "Medicine Pavilion." In martial arts schools, there were various departments like the Outer Court, Inner Court, Medicine Pavilion, Training Hall, and so on. Progress had to be taken one step at a time, and each task had to be completed meticulously. Rushing things led to mistakes.

"Head," after a thorough examination, Li Qingyang reported, "He has eight broken ribs and severe internal injuries. His condition is critical, and he needs immediate treatment."

Wang Jun wondered, "Can't we just take him to the town to see a doctor?"

Li Qingyang shook his head, "His injuries are too severe. Ordinary doctors won't be able to help unless..."

"Unless what?" Wang Jun inquired.

"Unless he uses the elixir handed down from ancient times to save him from this dire situation," Li Qingyang replied. He believed that with the head of the faction's access to such powerful medicinal pills, they could easily cure the injuries.

Wang Jun pondered for a moment, then sighed, "Well..."

Lu Lu, leaning against the doorframe, interjected casually, "Don't tell me you expect a magic elixir that can instantly heal his injuries to appear out of thin air?"

Li Qingyang, looking at the injured boy with a grimy face, shook his head. "He's the head. He might hold on for another two hours at most."

Wang Jun, with a wry smile, stroked his chin. "I do have a ready-made elixir now. The question is, should I use it or not?"

"Use it!" Li Qingyang urged.

"No, don't use it!" Lu Lu countered.
