Melanie's POV
The day had finally arrived, January 3rd, the day I was moving out of my sister Millie's place. As I packed up my belongings, Millie was being unusually clingy and annoyed. We had spent the past few weeks living together, going out, and getting drunk – creating memories that felt like a whirlwind of laughter and adventures.
As I packed up my belongings, Millie sat on the edge of the bed, looking genuinely sad. She spoke in a playful yet slightly melancholic tone, "I can't believe you're leaving me."
Bella, chimed in, teasing, "I know, right? Just so she can be with her fling."
Millie laughed, her voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia, "When are we gonna be high and drunk together again?"
I joined in the laughter, recognising the bittersweet nature of our parting, "Probably this weekend, let's be honest."
Millie and I had shared countless memories together, and I was certain we'd create many more in the future, no matter where life took us.
Bella's words brought a mix of laughter and anxiety as we drove towards the new place. Leaving the comfort of my sister's home was daunting, but it was also a step towards independence. Bella, was full of advice.
"Are you scared?" she asked, her eyes focused on the road.
I let out a nervous chuckle. "Hell yeah. I've never lived with anyone besides family before. It's a whole new world."
Bella nodded, her expression thoughtful. "Yeah, it is. But it's also exciting. You'll learn so much about yourself and about living with others."
I fiddled with the edge of my seat, my mind racing with a thousand thoughts. "What if I mess things up?"
Bella flashed a reassuring smile. "You won't mess things up, and they won't hate you. Just be yourself, be considerate, and communicate. That's the key to any successful roommate situation."
Her advice was surprisingly comforting. "Thanks, Bella. You always know what to say."
She grinned mischievously. "Oh, I've got more advice for you. Always remember to hide your condoms."
I burst into laughter at her unexpected comment. "Bella, seriously?"
She chuckled, clearly enjoying my reaction. "I'm being serious. People can get frisky, especially in shared living spaces. Don't want your supplies to mysteriously vanish, right?"
I shook my head, still laughing. "Okay, noted. I'll keep them locked away like precious jewels."
As Bella pulled up to the new apartment, I couldn't help but feel grateful for her friendship and guidance. Moving out was undoubtedly a big step, but with friends like Bella by my side, I felt a little more prepared to face this new chapter in my life.

Bea's POV
As I continued packing, a mix of excitement and nervousness swirled within me. Jess had been a huge help, keeping me company during this significant change in my life. The thought of moving in with Josh was thrilling, but it also meant stepping into a new chapter full of uncertainties, including the drama that seemed to follow Theo and Grace.
Jess glanced at me with a reassuring smile. "Josh and Ryan are on their way to get us," she informed.
I took a deep breath, my anxiety momentarily surfacing. "Oh shit," I replied, my voice slightly shaky.
Concern filled Jess's eyes. "Are you alright?" she asked, putting down the box she'd been packing.
I sighed and nodded, trying to put on a brave face. "Yeah, I'm just a bit worried about the whole Theo and Grace situation. I don't want to get caught up in their drama."
Jess chuckled lightly, understanding my apprehension. "Bea, you'll be fine. Living with Josh is going to be amazing, and you two can handle anything that comes your way."
As if on cue, the door swung open, and Josh's voice called out, "Are you ready?"
I turned to Jess and whispered, "Guess it's time to find out." With that, I grabbed the last few items, ready to embrace this new adventure with Josh by my side.
Josh's playful banter brought a smile to my face as we drove toward our new home together. Moving in with him felt like the next big step in our relationship, and despite my earlier worries about Theo and Grace's drama, I couldn't help but feel excited.
When Josh asked, "Are you excited?" I nodded, though I couldn't hide a hint of hesitation.
But then, Josh's tone shifted to teasing as he asked, "Did you pack your vibrator?" I laughed at his unexpected question. "Why?" I inquired, playing along.
Josh grinned mischievously. "I'm going to be out tonight," he declared, raising an eyebrow suggestively.
I shot him a mock scandalised look. "No, why don't you stay with me?" I countered, feigning innocence.
Josh chuckled. "We're having a boys' night back at mine," he explained, his tone becoming more serious.
I pouted playfully, not wanting to miss out on the fun. "Can I come?" I asked, leaning closer to him.
He glanced at me with a grin. "Unless you're a boy," he teased.
I smirked. "But I like them, so that must count for something," I replied, knowing that even if I wasn't invited, I had my own plans for the evening with the girls.

Grace's POV
Steph and I had been busy packing my things, preparing for this new chapter in my life. Moving in with Theo was both exciting and nerve-wracking. As I sifted through my clothes, trying to decide what to bring, I couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed.
"How many thongs do I bring?" I called out to Steph, half-joking, half-serious.
Steph, always one to inject humor into any situation, quipped back, "Bring all of them. You never know when you'll need to change your underwear in a hurry."
I chuckled and plopped down amidst the pile of clothes. "This is the start of something good," Steph reassured me.
"Yeah, I guess," I replied, my smile fading a little. "I'm just stressed about the whole thing."
Steph, always practical, asked, "Do you have condoms?"
I nodded. "Yeah, I packed some."
She laughed, a sound that never failed to lift my spirits. "Then you shouldn't be stressed."
Just then, my phone rang, and it was Theo calling. I picked up, and he said, "I'm outside, let's go."
I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness wash over me as I ended the call, realizing that this was a big step for us. But I knew that no matter what lay ahead, we were in it together.
As we settled into the car, Theo at the wheel and Steph in the back seat, a wave of excitement coursed through me. Moving in together was a significant step for our relationship, and I couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation mixed with a dash of nervousness.
Theo's hand found its way to my thigh, his touch both comforting and electrifying. "You look so nice today," he complimented me.
A smile crept across my face as I glanced at him. "Thank you, babe," I replied, feeling a warmth in my chest at his words.
Theo leaned closer, his eyes locked onto mine. "It's such a shame I can't take it off tonight," he said, his voice laced with a hint of mischief.
Confused, I furrowed my brow. "What do you mean?"
With a sly grin, he clarified, "We're having a boys' night tonight, so all the girls can chill back at the new place."
Steph, who had been quietly listening, suddenly perked up. "OMG, I'm coming!"
Theo chuckled, clearly entertained by Steph's enthusiasm. "Yeah, you can," he agreed before turning his attention back to me. "Grace, when I get home, I promise I'll make it up to you."

Bea's POV
Excitement buzzed through the air as we gathered outside the new apartment. Bella and Melanie were busy unloading boxes, and I couldn't help but smile at the prospect of living closer to my friends.
Unable to contain my enthusiasm, I rushed up to Melanie and enveloped her in a warm hug. Jess followed suit, hugging Bella tightly. After Jess, I made my way to Bella, offering her a friendly embrace, while Josh gave Melanie a hug.
Bella, always one to strike up conversation, asked me, "Are you excited to move in, Bea?"
I grinned. "Hell yeah, anywhere near Josh and Melanie, it's gonna be a party up in there."
Josh, always the practical one, inquired of Melanie, "Why are you guys waiting outside?"
Melanie explained, "We're waiting for Theo because he has all the keys."
Ryan, ever the impatient one, chimed in with, "Josh, when are we leaving?"
I shot Ryan a playful look. "Patience, my friend," I teased. "Theo's on his way, and then we can get this party started."
Theo's car pulled up, and we all gathered by the entrance. Steph, always the lively one, jumped out of the back seat and enveloped me in a warm hug.
Theo suggested we head inside, and as the door swung open, a sense of awe washed over me. The apartment was amazing, with high ceilings that added to the grandeur. However, the vast emptiness of the space felt a bit eerie.
Inside, Grace and Steph couldn't contain their excitement, their squeals of delight filling the room. Theo had retreated to a corner, engaged in what seemed to be an intense conversation with Melanie.
Meanwhile, Josh and I stood in the middle of the room, taking it all in. He turned to me, his eyes filled with a warmth that made my heart skip a beat. "I'm so excited to do this with you, babe," he said.
I tilted my head, a curious smile playing on my lips. "Do what?"
His smile was infectious, and he replied, "Live the rest of my life with you." It was a simple statement, but in that moment, it felt like the most beautiful promise.

Grace's POV
It had been about three hours since we'd arrived at the new apartment. We'd all scrambled to move our belongings into our respective rooms, but the place was still far from being furnished. The emptiness of the apartment was a stark contrast to the bustling excitement of our move.
Theo's voice called out, breaking the quiet, and we all gathered in one of the bedrooms. He started explaining, "This room is the one that has to share the bathroom."
I glanced around at the group, considering our options. Finally, I suggested, "We can share it with Melanie. That way, we'll be close, and it'll be like a girls' domain."
Theo seemed to ponder the idea for a moment before nodding in agreement. "That works. Let's do that. It'll be fun," he said with a smile.
With our living arrangements settled, we headed back to our rooms to continue unpacking and settling into our new space.
Theo's announcement caught us all by surprise. He hugged and kissed me goodbye, and as he left, I couldn't help but feel a pang of longing. Josh did the same with Bea, and Ryan with Jess.
But then, Melanie and Bella jumped up, their excitement contagious. Melanie announced, "All of us girls are going out tonight. So, get on some cute clothes, put on some makeup, because we're hitting the road in 10 minutes."
I felt a surge of excitement and a bit of relief. A girls' night out sounded like the perfect way to celebrate our new adventure and take our minds off the whirlwind of emotions that had accompanied our move.
I quickly gathered my things and began to get ready, looking forward to spending some quality time with the girls.
We were all dressed up and ready to roll. I decided on a cute blue top that would show off my tan lines, embracing the Spanish sun-kissed glow.
Melanie had chosen a tube top, a daring yet fashionable choice, perfect for displaying her own tan lines.
Steph, always the fashionista, wore a stunning green matching set with flared pants that looked incredibly stylish on her.
Bea had gone for a tiny black top, and we were all set to hit the town.
Bella took the driver's seat, and we piled into the car, eager for a night of fun at Melanie's sister's place. The anticipation was building, and laughter filled the car as we cruised through the city, ready to make the most of our girls' night out.
