Water? (Chapter 22)

I slipped. What a careless move from myself. I never thought that I'll get this excited for water. The game must have changed some part of my train of thoughts.

Well I'm lucky to be able to catch the vines that was hanging of this tree. Without it I might have suffered heavy injuries.

Now that I'm here what should I do? Continue towards the water or should I climb the cliff that I fell from?

While I was wondering I was greeted by another Ursa Minor.

Uwaaah. Is these guys that common in this forest. For me to meet two in very close proximity from each other. Do their territory overlap with each other's or their territory is just that small compared to a real life bear.

I think it might be the latter as they might fight for prey that is standing at the overlapping part of the territories. They would want to avoid unnecessary trouble.

While I was thinking about the territories I conjured up a flaming lance and charge forward and stab it straight into its head. It managed to dodge my first move so I swiped the lance as it changes shape into a flaming sword. The second move managed to take the bear by surprised causing it's head to roll down on the ground.

Hearing the list of messages I decided to ignore it and proceed to store the corpse in my inventory to prevent any unnecessary infection on corpse.

After storing the body I climbed to the top of one of the trees nearby. Reaching the top I was greeted by something flying straight at me and I was hit by it before falling down straight to the ground while coming in contact with a few branches during the fall.

"Ugh", I let out a small groan as I hit the ground. Looking to my side I saw the thing that hit me.

It was a strange looking bird with a kingfisher looking head but with the body of what seems like a falcon. It was out cold so I took this as an opportunity to kill using a 22 LR(Long Rifle) caliber fire bullet to kill it by shooting at in between it's eyebrows.

Afraid of wasting more time I didn't looked at it's status before storing it in my inventory.

After storing the body in my inventory I went ahead and followed the sound of the river. As I walked the trees was no longer as dense as before and view was not obstructed a like before.

Then bright light came into view temporarily blinding me causing me to jump on a tree by instinct. As I regained my sight I was greeted by.....
