"This is ridiculous! I don't understand anything," he threw his books away. 

" Not with that attitude," Perse picked up his books, dusting them off and returning them on the table. "It's just like riding a motorcycle___"

"This is nothing like riding a motorcycle,"

"It takes a lot of practice. But you'll get the hang of it."

He rolled his eyes at her positivity, but then opened his books and tried again.

After daring to stand up to the school's bad boy, Persephone Ariadne Carlisle is tasked with tutoring Asher Jayden Thorne, the school's most rebellious bad boy.

<p>The school library was a sanctuary of quiet and peaceful, a stark contrast to the bustling hallways, lively classrooms and the rowdy football field. Perse found solace in the rows of books, the faint smell of old paper, and the soft rustling of pages turning. Maya hated the library though, which made it the perfect place for Perse to go to everytime she was trying to avoid her. Lucky for her, it was also the perfect place for  focused study sessions.</p>

<p>She had arranged to meet Asher there after school to help him with history. Despite the tension with Josh which left a bitter taste in her mouth and an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach, she was determined to keep her promise to Asher.</p>
