Three and a half children

"So, where are we going?" Billy asks me in the car. "We are all meeting at the coffee shop to decide what we are going to do today." I reply matter of factly. He nods, "Okay, so I get to see your cute friend again." This takes me by surprise, "Don't you have a girlfriend?"

He rolls his eyes. "Becky dear," I make a face at this but he continues, "just because people say we are together doesn't mean we are together. Are you getting jealous?" I scoff at this, "As if! I'm the one who first told you that, remember? And actually I was talking about Amanda. Didn't you mention something about moving in because your dad was going to kick you out? Because I know I did not imagine that." Billy has the bright idea to laugh at this, "Amanda isn't my girlfriend."
