Jimmy asks Olie after finished reading that letter. He is looking at it once then at Olie. Obviously, he didn't get shocked cause he's been used to having those stupid letters. Jimmy can always name it STUPID. But deep down, he gets tranquil when he finds those. Tranquil- for each of his words and meanings, what is related to Jimmy. The power of writing - he even mentioned it one of his letters. Jimmy can never put his on ignorance after having the letters. Rather, he could read out twice if he finds the best off it.
