(32) losing supportive role

Lucas was led to an abandoned storehouse, which appeared to be not used for at least 5 years.

However, when Lucas stepped inside it, he couldn't help but change his mind.

The whole room's interior was decorated with many kinds of ornaments. The place was tidy, showing it was well-maintained.

The thought of this being their secondary base passed through Lucas's mind.

Dergon stood up from the sofa, moving to Lucas with a welcoming atmosphere following him.

Shooing away the people leading Lucas, Dergon himself began entertaining Lucas.

"This place doesn't have a facility comparable to the ones in Survile. Still, we will make sure to not make it any less comfortable." Dergon's eyes flashed seeing Lucas's young age, nevertheless, he didn't dare to look down on him.

'D rank in such a young age....freaking monster!' Dragon felt envious, which he hadn't experienced in a long time.

Lucas gazed at Dergon while sitting on the sofa.

Unlike his imagination, Dergon appeared more like a businessman than a gangster. However, the air around Dergon was in no way that of a businessman. There were tattoos and other kinds of piercings on him, but the businessman's attitude stuck closely to him.

Dergon appeared to be in his mid-thirties but was most likely older. The body ageing slows down as the awakener grows stronger, making it hard to predict others' age.

[Ding! A Villain has been detected.]

[Name: Dergon

Age: 47

Villain aura: 46,900

Special talent: Silver conversion — talent.]

'Silver conversation? Sounds quite straightforward.'

Without wasting any more time, Lucas began asking all the questions that appeared in his head.

Hearing Dergon speak, Lucas was amazed by Yagren. He was sure now that Yagren had a talent for leading people, more than anyone he knew.

'It's not a trait, not skill, or neither a cheat. But a natural talent that he was born with, which has gone unfound thus far....'

Yagren didn't use violence to win over the people living in his area. What he used were only words and promises. Just with that, he made hundreds of people change their minds and side with him.

'The world did side with Yagren, as the area he won over was ruled by an evil person — famous for using prostitution.'

Lucas's eyes squinted as he thought about prostitution. He felt as if something was amiss. When suddenly enlightenment flashed through his eyes.

"Right, what happened to the prostitute?" Unknowingly, the corner of Lucas's perked up automatically.

Dergon smirked, breaking his businessman smile: "I don't know what he is trying to pull, but that Yagren brat ordered the prostitution business to be closed. Which led to around a hundred women taking refuge in my area. Of course, I didn't reject free labor."

"Are you planning on opening a prostitution center too?" Lucas's eyes made contact with Dergon's.

"The preparation is long over, it was opened a few days ago." Dragon was very happy about this new source of money.

Lucas felt very confident in the conjecture that appeared in his head. He strongly felt that a female lead was present in this prostitution event.

Having read hundreds of novels and played just as many games, it was not an ungrounded belief.

'If my prediction is correct, the female lead would most likely be a newbie, as most of the time they are virgins. Well, I have seen many female leads who aren't virgins too, but they are rare.'

Dergon looked at Syuzia who sat beside Lucas, acting like she didn't exist.

"Is she one of those bio-mech dolls?" Dergon questioned with interest.

"No, she is my sister."

"Oh..."

Lucas shook his head: "Take me to the new prostitution."

Dergon was left speechless with Lucas's straightforward attitude. However, he liked people who were honest with their feelings like this.

"Alright, this way. Um, and Yagren's mother is there providing 'free' service, we can stop it if you don't like it..." Dragon was aware that Lucas was the one who came up with the plan to kidnap Yagren's mother.

"I don't care..." Lucas felt disgusted, but at the same time tried to overcome this feeling.

[Willpower has increased by +0.1]

'...It increases this way too, huh?' Lucas made a mental note of this point. Trying to overcome something mentally, would lead his willpower to increase.

Lucas was acutely aware of how it felt like to lose one's mother, as he experienced it himself. That was the main reason he felt nauseated throughout his body. And right at the moment, he was doing something worse than that.

[Willpower has increased by +0.1]

'Phew....I have probably become someone worse than what people would call terrible. But this is who I'm striving to be, a villain who can use any means possible to defeat the protagonists and win over female leads.'

Wasn't that the goal he set the moment he transmigrated?

There was no reason to hesitate.

Lucas's mind stabilized thinking so far. Then, a frown formed on his face thinking of a possibility.

'What was the action of people who were pushed to such a degree?'

Lucas didn't deny that he read a lot of gore and disgusting content-filled novels and manga. So his knowledge of this kind of thing was in no way low.

Only two options appeared in Lucas's head.

The people would either suicide or break permanently.

Lucas's expression grew serious immediately: "Hey, did you gag his mother? Have you properly tied her hands and feet?"

Dergon's face grew hesitant, "I think so? My men are taking care of Yagren's mother. Talking about gagging, she might be gagging on their..."

"Call them immediately and make sure that His mother is properly tied up. I don't care what you do with her, but she must be alive to be used as a hostage!"

Because if Yagren's mother died, Dergon would become a stepping stone and a target for revenge for Yagren. Once it's all found out, an all-out fight will begin.

Information about Lucas's father controlling Dergon might be spilled too. Anything was possible because of the protagonist's aura.

All of it might just lead Yagren to find Lucas's involvement in everything.

'That's the worst-case scenario...' Lucas urged Dergon coldly.

"Fast!"

Listening to what Lucas said, Dergon grew serious too. He immediately contacted the men ordered to take care of Yagren's mother.

All Dergon got in response was the unending ringing of the phone.

"Tch! Too distracted to respond...." Dergon turned to Lucas with a displeased expression, however, he stopped himself from continuing to speak.

Lucas's face was aghast as he stared forward blankly.

In the end, it was too late.

[The host has caused Yagren's mother to lose her life and supportive role. Host's villain aura +2000. Obtained 8,000 villain points.]

'Fuck...too late. I wasted my time being distracted by stupid emotions for too long.' Lucas couldn't help but blame his shortcomings.
