CHAPTER 8: Bingo

After Taewoo called the police about Mr. Kate's murder, he revealed his identity as an NIS Korea agent to the authorities. He sought their cooperation in solving the case, but deep inside, he had a growing belief that Mr. Kate's death was connected to the mysterious map he had been tracking. His instincts told him that Mr . kate's death might be due to his involvement with the map.

The police eventually contacted Taewoo, sharing records and a picture of the last person who had visited Mr. Kate. To Taewoo's surprise, it was none other than Chin. Although he had briefly encountered her on the subway before, she had not been significant to him or his mission at that time.

The scene then shifted to Chin's place. Her parents were away on a business trip, leaving her alone. While rummaging through her drawer, she heard a knock at the door. She found herself face-to-face with the London police, who arrived with an arrest warrant. They accused her of being the last person to visit Mr. Kate, who had been murdered. Chin was in shock, vehemently denying any knowledge of Mr. Kate's death, insisting that he couldn't be dead.

Despite her protests, the female police officers handcuffed her and took her to the police car. When she arrived at the police station and entered the interrogation room, she found two detectives waiting for her. To her astonishment, one of them was Taewoo. The detectives introduced themselves and began questioning her about Mr. Kate's murder. Chin was confused, and her emotions were in turmoil.

Taewoo, maintaining his detective persona, accused Chin of the murder, citing evidence such as the black rose found both on Mr. Kate's body and in her room. Chin countered, explaining that the blood on her shoes was actually kimchi, which Mr. Kate had accidentally spilled during lunch. She also defended her possession of black roses, mentioning her friend Elly and her late mother's affinity for them.

The interrogation continued, with Chin growing more defiant. She questioned Taewoo's earlier claim of being a serial killer and wondered why he was now involved in a murder investigation. Taewoo, with his usual stoic demeanor, reminded her that they were dealing with a serious matter and needed her cooperation.

Frustrated, Taewoo abruptly left the room, followed by the other detective. Chin remained in the room, her stubbornness unwavering. She couldn't comprehend why Taewoo, who had previously confessed to being a serial killer, was now on the other side of the law.

The scene shifted to Mr. Mark's office, where he was conspicuously absent. A mysterious figure wearing a black mask entered the office and left a cryptic message : it feels so bad to see your father dead , lets find the criminal together. After 5 days when Mr . Mark returned to his office , he saw the letter and threw it away saying : "you old rascal, just write your death wish now."

Meanwhile, four days into her police investigation, Chin returned home as soon as she enetered her room she found a note on her bed : "now you can feel the pain of losing someone youu love , it was just a trailer , hope you will enjoy the movie." Alongside the letter was a picture of Taewoo, his image obscured by blood.
