Dead Eyes

Her eyes narrowed but when he pointed the sword at him, she did not let go of the chance. She hated him, loathed him to the core of her existence. He was everything she had been warned against and he was using her.

"Do not show mercy when it comes to attack because I will not." She laughed. What made him think that she was going to be merciful.

But she did not attack. She kept staring at him. He raised a brow.

"What? Do not tell me that you were only playing in the dark with a sword to seduce other knights? Am I not enough for you?" The mockery on his face took her unprepared. Her eyes widened but then she noticed the flicker of his eyes and how he shifted the sword slightly.

He was aggravating her. She did not react. It would be worthless to waste time and envy in talking. She let him speak so that she could notice the way he held the sword and moved.
