Burial

The words startled her. As if a bucket of cold water had been poured on her face. She… that voice came from her lips and the wetness between her legs was not an illusion. Her red face, dazed eyes and swollen lips, she could see their reflection in his eyes.

A shudder passed her spine and she paused.

"I.. that…" she wiped her lips but his taste only increased with her actions. He scoffed looking at her denial.

"You like me, Elara. You are only acting innocent like you act upright and honest while hiding your real identity and lying all the time. Tell me, do you enjoy feeling superior to everyone so much." his snicker burnt her like fire. As if he had used the candle to sear her. 

He let her go and she staggered. Only then did she realize that her knees had gone weak too.
