To Protect Him

Gerald was wise enough to take a step back when he was not needed anymore. He knew Elara was not among those who left. The way the woman glared at Cedric, it was clear that she was going to kill him first before the royal knights could hurt him.

"What did you say." she growled with her eyes going sinisterly dark. Gerald had to give the woman. He had never seen a woman looking so ferocious. "I dare you to repeat it again." Cedric's lips smacked into a thin line.

He looked upset with her disobedience but that would be the last thing Elara cared about.

"You think that I am some kind of pest that would stay at your command and leave whenever you flick young fingers. Ha!" her voice went low and that was the best time for Gerald to close the door.

God saved his master.

"You have witnessed what happened!" He said it as if that explained everything. Her blood started to boil in her chest. "It will be in your interest." he saw how her face went dark.
