Betrayal

"But what would they get by killing your father? As you said he was protecting them. Would it not be a loss if he died?" Rafael's grip on her hands tightened. His eyes burnt with hatred and rage to the limit that she could feel her skin burning.

His hatred was deep rooted and he did not want to hear reasons!

"They must have thought they would weaken us by killing the lord of the vampires. They thought they would kill me that night too and rule over us. Witches are nothing but a greedy bunch of chanters who are hungry for power with no morals." if she had been a human, her bones would have broken by now. She could feel the pressure he was putting in his grip and winced.

"My lord.. It hurts. Please let me go." because I could not reason with you.' she added in her heart when he jerked her away. She flinched and rubbed the bruises on her skin. When he did not leave the room but stared at her, she frowned. Didn't people leave in anger after lashing out?
