Chapter 109: Counterattack Simulation

"Hey, Victor, can I ask you something?"

"Huh? Sure, you can ask me anything as long as it's not weird." The midfielder responded with a nod.

Axel had to put his phone away now to have this little chat with his teammate.

"Alright, let's say you're in a situation where you have to tell someone the truth but risk hurting them badly. What are you going to do?"

"Hmmm, well that depends on which one's going to hurt the most, no, it depends on which one's going to do the most damage," Victor replied after a few seconds.

"Huh?"

"If keeping the truth from her is going to cause less damage or problems than telling her then I'll just keep it to myself, you know there's a saying that goes to this, ignorance is a bliss. However, if letting her go on without knowing that truth is going to be worse than telling her then I'm just better off spilling it." He illustrated.

"Letting her go on is going to be way worse," Axel muttered to himself.
