Rewards

Finally, I can write again! Why someone didn't tell me that attending college is stressful as f**k Rahhhhh!!!!

PShhhttt~

The sound of the capsule opening echoed softly in Youngwoo's room. The cool air of the real world hit him like a gentle breeze, a stark contrast to the intense heat of the forge he had just left in Satisfy. He sat up slowly, his muscles stiff from hours of grinding in the game. His stomach growled loudly, reminding him that he hadn't eaten in far too long.

"Ughhh... hungry..." Youngwoo muttered, rubbing his stomach as he stumbled out of the capsule

Despite his exhaustion, a small smile crept onto his face. He had been grinding non-stop in Satisfy, and it was finally time to log out and claim the rewards he had accumulated. The Achievement System was always a mixed bag—most of the time, the prizes were underwhelming, but every now and then, he would get something unexpected.

He grabbed a bag of chips from his desk and tore it open, shoving a handful into his mouth as he sat down at his computer. The screen lit up, displaying his list of achievements and rewards.

- Skill {Lucky Pervert} (CLAIMS)

Ability to stumble into cliché anime moments where you accidentally walk in on someone changing, trip, and fall into a compromising position or somehow end up with your face buried in a pillow that smells suspiciously like strawberries. It is the ultimate double-edged sword. It's embarrassing, ridiculous, and will probably get you slapped at least once. But it's also weirdly effective, turning what should be social suicide into unexpected opportunities. Whether you're the protagonist of a harem anime or just a guy with terrible luck (or great luck, depending on how you look at it), this skill ensures that even your most awkward moments will somehow work out in your favor.

===========================

"What the f**k?!" Youngwoo exclaimed, his voice echoing through the room. He stared at the screen, his mouth hanging open in shock.

"Nope, not today," he said firmly, shaking his head. "I'm not ready to become a full-fledged pervert just yet."

Recalling the anime To Love-Ru and its protagonist, Rito Yuuki the poster boy for the Lucky Pervert skill. In the series, there is always a moment for him to trip and fall on the heroines, and somehow he manages to accidentally grope and peek their breast and slide his hand inside their panties, while he is not even trying!

With a decisive click, he closed the reward window, leaving the Lucky Pervert skill unclaimed. He had no intention of turning his life into some kind of anime cliché. Besides, he had more important things to focus on—like food.

Youngwoo stood up, stretching his stiff muscles as he headed toward the kitchen. His stomach growled again, louder this time, reminding him that he hadn't eaten in far too long. He rummaged through the fridge, pulling out a container of leftover kimchi fried rice and a bottle of water. As he reheated the food, his mind wandered back to the game.

The rewards he had claimed were quite impressive— the blueprints for Monster Hunter Wilds weapons. As an avid gamer in his past life, he, of course, knows what they are, he used to play MonHunt all night long and skip his sleep just to finish it.

But as exciting as the MonHunt's blueprints were, they came with a catch.

'Hmmm... the only way I can use the Monster Hunter's blueprint is by consuming my Legendary Blacksmith's Creation skill.'

In Satisfy, most players with production-based classes could only create items based on already existing blueprints within the game. While some players had attempted to create original items, the results were always normal-rated at best.

That's why, despite acquiring a blueprint from Monster Hunter's world, he didn't immediately jump in joy. The powers of the weapons itself depended on his skill as a blacksmith, but they had a nice look though...

Thankfully, as Pagma's Successor, he had access to unique skills and abilities that set him apart from the rest. One of those abilities was Legendary Blacksmith's Creation, a skill that allowed him to create his own blueprints for legendary-grade items. It was a powerful tool, but it came with a cost—each use consumed one slot of the skill permanently.

That's why despite becoming Pagma's Successor for five months already, he still didn't touch that skill and focused on his blacksmith ability with an already existing blueprint. Kaela also helped to grow because as an NPC, she wasn't tied to these restrictions and could make items however she wanted.

After finishing his meal, Youngwoo headed back to his room to change clothes for his morning exercise. As he walked down the hallway, he nearly bumped into Sehee, who had just stepped out of her room. She was dressed casually, her hair tied back in a loose ponytail, and she looked as bright and energetic as ever.

"Hey, Sehee," Youngwoo greeted her with a small smile.

"Emh, where are you headed?" Sehee gave him a curt nod and asked, her tone casual but her eyes sharp with curiosity.

"I just wanna change my clothes real quick and go for a run. Why?" Youngwoo replied, tilting his head slightly.

"Can I go with you?" Sehee asked, her voice casual but with a hint of something deeper—concern, maybe, or just a desire to spend time with her older brother. Ever since he played Satisfy, they have been seeing each other less and less, even though they live in the same apartement.

At her question, Youngwoo raised an eyebrow and gave her a meaningful smile. "Sure, but don't you have school to attend?"

Sehee tilted her head in confusion, her brows furrowing. "What are you talking about? It's Sunday."

Youngwoo blinked, his smile faltering for a moment. "Oh... right. Sunday." He scratched the back of his head, feeling a little embarrassed. "Guess I lost track of time."

Sehee crossed her arms, her expression shifting to one of mild exasperation. "Oppa, you've been playing that game all day and night again, haven't you? You're going to turn into a mushroom if you keep this up."

Youngwoo chuckled, trying to brush off her concern. "Hey, I'm not that bad. I just... got caught up in something important. You know how it is."

Sehee sighed, shaking her head. "Important, huh? More like obsessed. You've been glued to that capsule for days. I'm starting to think you've forgotten what sunlight looks like."

Youngwoo opened his mouth to protest but stopped himself. She wasn't entirely wrong. He had been grinding non-stop in Satisfy, and the lines between day and night had started to blur. Still, he wasn't about to admit that to his little sister. Instead, he decided to change the subject.

"By the way, where is Mom and Dad?" Youngwoo asked, his tone casual but his eyes softening as he thought about his parents.

Sehee's expression brightened at the mention of their parents. "They've already gone to the vegetable store a while ago," she answered with a soft smile. "You know how they are—always up before the sun, even when they don't have to be."

Youngwoo nodded, a mix of pride and guilt swirling in his chest. Thanks to his success in Satisfy, their family wasn't short on money anymore. The financial burden that had weighed them down for years had been lifted, and they could finally breathe easier. But despite that, their parents had insisted on keeping the vegetable store open. They didn't want to put the weight of the family entirely on Youngwoo's shoulders, and they took pride in their work.

Sehee noticed the look on her brother's face and added, "They've been doing a lot better, you know. They're healthier, happier... and they don't argue as much anymore. It's like a huge weight has been lifted off their shoulders."

Youngwoo smiled faintly, but the guilt lingered. He had worked so hard to provide for his family, but he couldn't help feeling like he was neglecting them in other ways. He spent so much time in the game that he barely saw them anymore. Even now, he was rushing off to change so he could go for a run, leaving little time for real connection.

Sehee, ever perceptive, seemed to sense his thoughts. She stepped closer, her voice gentle but firm. "Oppa, you've done so much for us. Don't think for a second that we don't appreciate it. But... you don't have to carry everything alone, you know? We're a family. We're supposed to help each other."

Youngwoo looked at her, surprised by her words. Sehee had always been mature for her age, but there was a depth to her now that he hadn't noticed before. She wasn't just his little sister anymore—she was growing up, and she wanted to be there for him just as much as he had always been there for her.

"That's why I want to go running with you," Sehee continued, her tone light but her eyes serious. "I know you've been working so hard, and I don't want you to feel like you're alone in this. Even if it's just a small thing like keeping you company, I want to help."

Youngwoo's chest tightened at her words. He had always seen himself as the protector, the one who had to shoulder the family's burdens. But hearing Sehee say that she wanted to help him—that she saw his struggles and wanted to be there for him—it meant more than he could put into words.

"Thanks, Sehee," he said quietly, his voice thick with emotion. "That... means a lot."

Sehee grinned, her usual playful demeanor returning. "Don't get all mushy on me now, Oppa. Let's just go for that run before you change your mind."

Youngwoo laughed, the tension in his chest easing. "Alright, alright. Give me five minutes to change, and I'll meet you outside."
