Get Excited & Go To The Federation Palace

Morning

"Hmm? Is it morning already?" Aether opened his eyes and glanced toward the window.

It was still dark outside, but the sun was beginning to rise.

He slowly rose from his bed, stretching his body.

"The agreement with the Martians..." His eyes sharpened, and he sighed, shaking his head.

Afterward, he made his way to the mirror and rubbed his reflection.

"A peace treaty after decades of war... I hope everything goes smoothly without any mishaps." He closed his eyes briefly, then turned towards the bathroom in his room to prepare for his visit to the Arcana Federation palace.

...

"Sister? Are you there?" Aether, who was already neat and tidy, stepped out of his room and called out for Flora.

"..."

Not hearing any response from the kitchen or the living room, Aether walked towards the kitchen, finding it empty, as well as the living room.

"It seems she's already gone to the Guardian headquarters to welcome Princess Sharon." Aether pondered for a moment and shrugged.

In the end, as long as his big sister could return home for dinner later, that was enough.

He understood how challenging it would be for her to find time to be with him at home in the future.

Just as he was about to prepare bread and milk for breakfast, he suddenly noticed an omelette and neatly wrapped bacon on the dining table.

Next to them, there was warm milk still emitting steam, along with a letter.

Aether's face lit up with a warm smile as he picked up the letter and began to read it.

[My dear Aether, your sister had to attend a meeting at the headquarters and make preparations later in the afternoon for Princess Sharon's arrival. I apologize for not being able to join you for breakfast, but as a token of my apology, I've prepared breakfast for you. I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to come to the Federation Palace to witness the signing of the treaty and visit your father if you wish. That's all from me. Take care.]

[With love from your dear sister, Flora]

After reading the entire letter, Aether nodded in understanding, confirming his big sister's absence at headquarters.

"Well, in that case, I won't let you down, dear sister." Aether's lips curled into a gentle smile as he took a seat at the dining table and began to savor his breakfast.

However, a thought suddenly crossed his mind, prompting him to reach for the television remote on the dining table.

He turned on the television in the living room, and the channel that appeared displayed news about the upcoming treaty.

"Good morning, viewers! Today is a truly special day, as the Princess of the Alvers Empire, Princess Sharon, is visiting Earth to sign a peace treaty with us. The Earth side, that is!"

"I hope this marks the beginning of a peaceful and cooperative future with the Martians, benefiting both parties."

The host spoke skillfully, his excitement palpable.

Not only one television channel, but every channel on television, was broadcasting the news about the treaty between the two planets.

"Perhaps this was intentionally orchestrated by the three Federations to ensure that all television channels broadcast news about this peace treaty. It's quite understandable because there are still many people who aren't particularly sensitive to this issue, and some still harbor deep-seated grudges against the Martians." Aether silently pondered, accurately assessing the situation.

After all, the effects of this treaty would indeed be far-reaching, impacting the stability of the economy, technology, and various other aspects of life on Earth.

Just imagine if, as a result of this treaty, the Martians decided to share samples of their Genesis technology for Earthlings to study and research.

It could be said that humans on Earth would leap forward in time, effectively advancing human civilization by two to three thousand years in an instant.

"Perhaps this is the underlying reason why the three Federations agreed to make peace with the Martians, despite their previous role as villains who attacked Earthlings." Aether stroked her chin in thought for a moment.

Not everyone realized this, and Aether was probably just speculating.

However, with such compelling evidence in front of him, it wasn't too difficult to draw some conclusions.

Aether shook his head, not dwelling on it too much because what mattered most to him was that everything proceeded smoothly.

As for the purpose behind it all, he didn't really care, as long as it meant a future where everyone could live comfortably without fearing Martian attacks.

He then unlocked his smartphone, discovering numerous unread messages.

[My honey, good morning! How are you today? Did you go to the Federation Palace at noon? - Arshley]

[Hey, bro! Good morning! When are you coming? It's already getting crowded, and I've been waiting for you too long. Hurry up, because more and more people want to see Princess Sharon! - Ethan]

There were many messages from Arshley, Ethan, and Neil that he had yet to read.

Even Nathania had inquired about his news and visit to the Federation Palace.

"You're all so excited!" Aether chuckled as he replied to each message one by one.

After ten minutes of tending to the messages, Aether finished his breakfast and washed all the dishes and glasses he had used.

Next, he tidied up the table and any other clutter in the kitchen and living rooms.

"Alright, everything is in order." Aether nodded, surveying the room.

The kitchen and living areas now looked tidy and welcoming.

His gaze then fell upon a photograph of an adult woman on the table, and Aether stared at it for a moment.

"Well, I'll be on my way. Wish me luck with the peace treaty between our planet and Mars, Mom." A warm smile graced his handsome face as he opened the door and stepped outside.
