In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

Eternal Castle

Heinrich and Aldrich stopped by the infirmary to observe the woman who had begged her way inside; Julia.

"I did receive letters from her betrothed." Heinrich admitted, "Being occupied with my late wife's death, I could only do so much." He added. "When did she come here? Did her betrothed - now husband - come along? And who let her in any way? I am sure I asked Teresia to halt any visitors."

"Lady Sofia was the only one present in the mansion at that time. She let Julia in because her condition was dire. Even now, she has not woken up." Aldrich explained.

"Sofia…?" Heinrich murmured her name in annoyance. "Get me equipment and call Sofia. I need to see whether or not we should keep Julia here any longer or not." He ordered, "And wear a mask."
