In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

Eternal Castle

The Princess was at a loss for words. She didn't know how to explain her feelings to Killian. The Princess wanted to lift the misunderstanding between Heinrich and Killian. The problem was that she didn't know how to initiate, driving her insane.

While everyone was waiting for others to gather, Heinrich entered the hall with Kaspar. He had come to see them off, along with leather pouches. These pouches were full of coins enough to last these people two years of financial security.

The sight made the Princess feel even more terrible than before. She was leaving him behind after asking him to trust her. It was ridiculous.

The worst thing about it? He wasn't even looking at her! The Princess wondered if Killian was right all along. Maybe she should've put more faith in her bodyguard.
