Reunion

"How about I…" Heinrich murmured, "Take you to a market and let you eat anything you want?"

Little Elisabeth still found him suspicious. Being an orphan since an early age, she had always been cynical and dubious of people. Too many people had tried to kidnap her or hurt her. However, if the man took her to a market, it wouldn't be that bad.

"Ok." Elisabeth murmured. "But if I notice you doing something suspicious, I will run away." She announced.

Heinrich nervously laughed, "Sure."

With that, Elisabeth agreed to go with Heinrich. He took her around the market and let her buy anything she wanted. If words can't buy trust, money certainly can. Heinrich felt bad for using this way, but his intentions were clear.

After letting her enjoy the day in the market, Heinrich asked if they could go to his house. Still cynical, Elisabeth denied it.

"What should I do to make you believe me?" Heinrich asked softly.
