Start Of An End (Pt. 2)

The Princess closed her eyes while resting her head on Heinrich's shoulder. She was comfortable by his side, even though the cold showers of rain had her lost for a moment.

"Heinrich?" The Princess called him softly.

"Hmm?" Heinrich hummed gently. He was so happy to be around her that he had to suppress his words to contain his excitement.

"The carts that showed up earlier…" The Princess muttered with concern, "They sounded like Royal carts. I am afraid the Royal Guards are in the mountains. If they saw our signals, they might know Killian and Miss Agneth's location. Should we not go help them?"

Her concerns were valid.

But he couldn't lose her.

"No," He bluntly replied, "Have some faith in Killian. I am sure they will be fine."

The Princess pulled away from him to look at him. There was seriousness in her eyes. Although Heinrich couldn't see it, he could feel she was frowning at him.
