Chapter 1: Mei Lin's encounter
Mei Lin was walking around the palace. While walking around the palace, she encountered the Prince.
"Your Highness, good morning", Mei Lin bowed.
Prince: Stand up and look at me.
"Thank you", Mei Lin looked up.
Prince(thought): I have never seen such beautiful woman in my whole life. She truly is a flower in this palace.
"What is your name?" asked the prince.
Mei Lin: "I am Mei Lin, Your Highness."
They talked inside the room.
At night, they cuddled under the blankets and chatted with each other. It was both their first time.
The next day.
The prince invited Mei Lin to walk around the gardens.
Prince: Tell me, who are your parents? How did you become a maid here?
Mei Lin: I don't remember, but I know my parents are already dead. They sent me here.
Prince: Ok.
Mei Lin: Tell me about you, my prince. I barely know you, either.
Prince: Really? Well, I just had 9 wives a while ago. You saw the selection, right?
Mei Lin: (laughs) Actually, no. I was washing the dishes in the kitchen. I was curious, though. Who did you choose?
Prince: Rest assured, I didn't choose 9 girls, I only choose two girls in reality. The others were chosen by the empress.
Mei Lin: Two girls? Who?
Prince: Jia Ying and Felicia. Jia Ying is my childhood classmate and friend, I haven't talk to her for years.
They talked for more while.
Prince: Do you want to be my consort?
Mei Lin: (shocked) Oh, yes, of course, my Highness.
The prince is adjusting to the new situation, meeting and talking to new girls and his consorts in the palace.
The palace-2nd day
Girl: Have you heard?
Girl2: What?
Girl: The prince got a new consort on the first day of his marriage, someone outside the harem selection.
Girl 2: Oh?
Girl: It was Mei Lin, the maid.
Girl 2: She is very beautiful.

The third prince was the closest to Jia Ying. He often plays and talks with her, compared to his brother, the first prince.
The prince went away afterwards.
2nd Prince: Guys, have you heard of the new consort?
Xue Ni: Yes, Mei Lin, the maid.
Jia Ying: Well, have you seen her?
Felicia: Not really.
Jie Ling: I heard she's in his room for the month.
At his room
Mei Lin: You're back. How was it?
Prince: It was okay.
Mei Lin: I think I'm pregnant.
Prince: (happy) Really? That's great.
Mei Lin was in the prince's room for months, while the prince was busy acquanting with the princesses outside.
