I couldn't even touch the baby I birthed, I only resolved to crying. Watching my baby crying without anyone to lift him from the mixture of water and blood he lay.

I guess your father became more courageous than I; your mother and carried you to wipe your body.

"The flame in his hands feels really cold, does this signify love just like you? " He asked with so much curiosity which left me struggling to sit up and carry my baby.

Just as he said his body was so cold despite the flame in his hands and eyes I was so happy that what we see is not truly who you are.At that moment I knew a new king has been born to protect mankind and I swore to protect you no matter what happens.because I believed you can never kill and you would be just like me and never your grandfather.

Many nights I felt you battling in your little dream and it hurts when I realized that I can't help with my human nature but the amazing thing there is that you always wakes the next morning with a sweet and comforting smile.

None of what happened to you would have happened if we remained where you were born but I was too scared my father would seek for your life the moment he finds out u've been born. So we had to move farther into the wood to find a hidden place where we can call home, your father and uncle Ivan were the only people permitted to leave where we stayed not until your curiosity grew wilder and you wanted to know more.

"Why didn't you tell me all these while?" I asked ma Mia who broke down in tears a second time stealing my anger with her tears.

" I thought I would be able to protect you but I failed again as your mother"

She lamented in tears.

" You did not fail as a mother." Uncle Ivan said tapping her on the shoulder while she looked up to stare at papa Jesse who stood without a word.

"I want to live my life as a normal child I don't want to be hidden anymore , I will go live with human and do what humans do. " I stated conclusively.

Ma Mia reached out for my hands tearfully and I let her hold them.

" I can't afford to loose you, you, your father, pesi and Ivan is all I've got as a human and as a goddess. I'll become very lonely and die if anything ever happens to you or anyone of you, let remain hidden it's more peaceful and quiet here".

Unable to control my emotions I broke down in tears.

" Until when are we going to keep hiding? " I muttered inaudibly emancipating my hands from my mothers' .

I walked up to papa Jesse and hugged him tightly on his waist socking his over washed jean trouser with my tears.

Slowly he freed himself from me and squatted to meet my height.

" You're right son! we don't need to hide anymore and there's something we've still not told you. "

my ears hurt for a while probably afraid of the new truth about to be revealed.

You are royalty! Papa Jesse said.

My mouth dropped open and I guess same happened to ma Mia and uncle Ivan with the shock showing all over their faces.

I was scared bringing up my past because of all the horrible torture I got from people I called family, I lost faith in anything called family not until I met your mother who filled a heart once filled with fear, she filled it with so much love and light that I could barely remember my fears, I didn't want to burden her with my past so I kept the fact that I am the crowned prince of satchel city hidden from her.

"But why! Why hid such vital information" . Ma Mia berated him.

His eyes tells how sorry he was even though he didn't really say sorry.

"My step brothers thought I was dead so they never came back for me. I was too weak to fight them but now I want to fight for my family so we are leaving this wood. "

Ma Mia became unusually very quiet as beads of tears kept dropping down her check.

" You know I can't leave this wood until it has been unsealed by the gods and goddesses". Ma Mia said inaudibly .

" Only the drop of human blood can unseal the wood and we all can leave peacefully." Pesi declared .

I bursted out laughing as I watched the movement of her mouth.

" What's amusing you" !

Pesi yelled leaving me laughing even more, papa Jesse perhaps understood why I was laughing and joined me laughing so did ma Mia and before I knew it pesi and uncle Ivan started laughing. I guess lucky was the only confused being here.

" No one is allowed to laugh at my wife" uncle Ivan said maybe unconsciously as he laughed.

" Your what! What other secret do I have to know please."

" Lucky is shape shifter, he can take the form of a human anytime any day and he's my son." Uncle Ivan added this very aware of what he is saying.

I couldn't believe my ears but I didn't want to overthink things more over it's good news having someone similar to me around.

So now it's been decided that we move back to the castle a night after today as one strong family and with my blood I shall unseal the wood.
