Chapter 48 Avery Harms Himself

By the time Avery arrived in Southwood Villa, it was already late at night.

It was raining more and more, and there was a very heavy white fog outside the car window.

Avery's eyes were dull. He leaned over to help Darlene unbuckle the seat belt.

Avery thought, this is the home that belonged to Darlene and me. I didn't treat her well in the past, but I will treat her very well in the future.

I hurt her too much in the past and I will make it up to her.

In Southwood Villa, Mary and a few servants came out to welcome him. The servants helped Avery open the car door and then held the umbrella for him.

When Avery went to the front passenger seat and carried Darlene, who had already passed away, the servants were so scared that they almost screamed out, and their faces were pale.

Avery looked at them fiercely. The servants immediately lowered their heads, trembling, and did not dare to reveal any fear.
