"That's no for sure. We are a couple. You have been living in the Gallard's place for so many years. Where can you go if I let you go?" Avery's face turned cold.
"You had been through so much. I will treat you well from now on. Those things will never happen again."
He disregarded Darlene's resistance and held her hand in his palm. "No one is more suitable for you than me, and no one is more suitable for you than the Gallard family and our family.
"Darlene, you know that you can't really let go of a ten-year relationship."
When the warmth of his palm reached her hand, Darlene felt disgusted.
She gritted her teeth and pulled her hand back. Her eyes were filled with disgust for the person in front of her. "Suitable? Avery, I have suffered for ten years, but that doesn't mean that I will still be suffering for the rest of my life.
