Cyrus replied, "Ms. Garcia and Mr. Swale didn't say that they didn't agree. It can be considered a yes. The director has already instructed someone to change Mr. Lucian Swale's room, and it happened to be next to yours."
Avery looked out the window. The night was dark. He remembered what Darlene had said to him outside the hospital not long ago. She said in a hateful tone, "There will no longer be any connection between you and me. You can give it up for good."
He sighed softly. "If it's possible, she must hope that she can disagree."
As far as Darlene was concerned, the things Avery gave her were probably a little dirty. If she could choose, why would she want to touch them?
But in the end, it was for her father. Darlene had no other choice.
Cyrus did not say anything else. He stood at the side and fell silent.
The director had a few doctors and nurses help move Lucian to the other ward.
