The therapist trailed behind Nathen and whispered to Martin, "Mr. Elicott, why don't we step inside and have a talk?"
Martin ignored the therapist's suggestion and directed his anger toward Nathen, who suggested taking Darlene away. "I object. If you want a woman like her to be a part of the Elicott family, I will never allow it!"
Nathen scoffed. "Grandpa, you've been managing my personal affairs for over two years now, and it's not your place to interfere anymore."
He then said to Darlene, "Darlene, come back with me. I promise no one will hold your brother accountable for his actions any longer. I'll fulfill any other requests you may have."
Martin shouted, "Fine! I dare you to make her a part of the Elicott family! If you dare to do this, the Elicott family will disown you, and you won't be able to return home in the future!"
