Chapter 372 Barging In

Marley's expression immediately changed. She looked at the housekeeper, who ran down the stairs in a panic, and asked, "What's going on? Wasn't he still inside the room during dinner?"

The housekeeper replied anxiously, "Yes, he was. After Nigel finished his meal, I was the one who cleaned up the dishes. But he seemed to have gone down through the outdoor balcony behind the study and left through the backyard. I saw the balcony door of the study left open. The study was supposed to be locked, but somehow it was opened."

She suddenly recalled something and added, "Ahh, I got it now. Mr. Collins came in the evening. After dinner, he said he wanted to select a bedroom to shower and rest by himself. He came to me and took all the keys to several rooms. He probably opened the study door and didn't lock it back, and Nigel went out through the study's balcony after that."
