Adam's urgent voice came over on the other end of the phone. At the same time, Braylen's heated argument with someone was vaguely transmitted to the phone.
While Darlene was on the phone, she occasionally heard the sound of things being smashed as well.
It seemed that Josefina's sudden departure was most likely confirmed. And this was unlike the previous ones when she disappeared for a while and would return not long after.
Darlene responded, "I got it. I'm coming over now. Adam, try to comfort Braylen and make him calm down. The landlord probably doesn't know about this matter, so don't let Braylen get into a big conflict with her."
Adam replied uneasily, "Oh, okay, I understand. Ms. Garcia, you'd better come over quickly."
Darlene hung up the phone and glanced outside the car window.
