Beth’s POV
"Tell me, Beth. What is it?" Aaron showed his serious and care face. I shook my head once, snapping myself out of my thoughts.
My wolf was just adding to my impatience, pacing around in my head, and I was sure she would have forced me out of the room and down to meet them if she wasn’t feeling so weak. She’s always loved the power that comes with being an Alpha, and she’s desperate to be accepted by other wolves after being neglected and abused for so long.
"I…" I started, but I can’t seem to force the words out. "I was wondering when I could, uh, meet your pack, if, um, that’s all right?" I stuttered out, dropping my gaze from his eyes and to my hands, playing with them in my lap. This thought popped into my mind the second I bonded with April. I wanted to meet our pack. I wanted to meet more pack members like her.
